I love how at 2:12 someone throws something at him, and he just flips him off and doesn't it let it effect his performance. Trent is awesome!!!

I loved these early nin days. So awesomely atmospheric and their whole 'future apocalypse' vibe matched perfectly with the entrancing synth work. Just captivating!

It's just amazing that NIN is still around today. Always have and always will love NIN. Plus Trents from western Pennsylvania too. My second album I ever bought growing up was the downward spiral. God I remember when down in it was on the radio. Feels like forever just like NIN will last.

To me their music always sounded a good 5-10 years ahead of their time. PHM was made in 89 but the electronic element of the album was used by 90's dance music all the way unto the mid to late 90's. The Downward Spiral album STILL sounds like it could be released tomorrow.

l am a big Marilyn Manson fan and l always thought Marilyn's stage show is unique. Know l can see the biggest influencer on Marilyn. Like everything the way he sounded, his hair style, the way he acted on stage everything is similar to Trent's. Yes, Manson changed with time and evolved to sth completely differet but when he first came out he looked like him.

[Chorus:] But that's what I get That's what I get That's what I get That's what I get How could you turn me into this? After you just taught me how to kiss you. I told you I'd never say goodbye. Now I'm slipping on the tears you made me cry. [Chorus] Why does it come as a surprise; To think that I was so naive. Maybe didn't mean that much. But it meant everything to me.

I personally love "Pretty Hate Machine" out of all of his work. But then again, I was 11 when it first came out and I was immediately drawn to it. It's a shame because this song as well as "Kinda I Want To" are a few of my all-time fav songs. Guess we'll ever hear him perform it live ever again, eh? I would love to hear the new line-up play "Maybe Just Once" as well.

Damn, the stage frame with the ropes! I was at the NYC show on this tour in the row of seats one up from the floor. A friend was supposed to join me and I was itching to have him show up because I wanted to shed my backpack and dive into the insanity on the floor... but he never showed. It damn near killed me :(

ChildrenOfRadiation It's way above the phase of teen angst, alot of mature themes, rather than being dumped because you didn't look pretty enough. NIN's songs talk of death, decay, corruption, people slowly descending into madness. Much more powerful than a bunch of opinionated, arrogant teens, struggling through a particular part of a system they follow.
