When the Black Panther Party started it was peaceful and community oriented. Nina Simone was close with the leaders, but she was abused and had too much darkness in heart, which translates in her music.. I actually relate very much to her as a woman. Anyway she was shunned by the party for being too violent in her ideas. She was a genius in so many ways, but she couldn't get past her pain. I hope she found peace in her life beyond this earthly realm🙏❤
