Right? I thought the exact same when I saw him in 2017 in Riot Fest, it was my first time super close to the stage and could not believe how he sounded exactly like in the records !!!!!

He sits in his comfortable range. Doesn't stray too far, so he can't do the same in live performances if he's feeling under the weather. Once of the songs that isn't like that would be "We're in this together" which is one step lower in live performances. But most of his songs are self produced nowadays and he likes to keep it natural.

Masterpiece. From time to time NIN can surprise me like no other band can. Trent and the bandmates are a cutting edge of this genre. (not to mention Ilan's precision)

Sadly, the frequencies are filled will trash and we have no choice what is broadcast to the local universe. But if I could choose one band to represent us all to an eavesdropping species, I think I’d choose NIN and I’d choose this song.
