@@punker-gamer-trucker-guy To me it sounds quite different ever since he works with Atticus Ross on his songs. They were super successful with the movie soundtracks they made but the influence on the new NIN albums takes the NIN sound in a quite different direction. Look, change is good I guess, and I hate to be one of those "I only like the old stuff" guys, but the new direction just does not give me personally that typical "NIN feeling" anymore.

@@florian-k He is in his mid 50s. Times when he was a man full of hatred and anger are long gone, he makes soundtracks for pixar movies now. And, to be fair, a lot of these remixes, while are good, sound nothing like NIN (chord progressions, song structure, etc.)

@@punker-gamer-trucker-guy It's definitely taken a different turn since Ross came on board for With Teeth. Its to be expected really though, because hes been in the industry for so long now. More a lateral move though than anything. Year Zero and Hesitation Marks were both amazing. Their movie score work is incredible, as well, which started a few years after With Teeth, so its a great trade off really.

This is exactly what we all needed.. through my whole life however I am healing, something is released involving Trent Reznor. And it helps me to overcome a difficult time in my life. . I’m working on some of my own. However I will be using technics 1200 mk2 original 1970s in factory original condition, using serato for the first time in my life. I hope I can put out something quality like this for all of us NIN fans. When they do come, all I ask is that you’re really honest about my mixes. Love these reaps remixes…

Everything Trent Reznor writes should be etched in gold, and the fact people relate to the music, what other band can sing a song Johnny Cash remakes, and both sound amazing thanks for the music, It impacted my life tremendosly, please give us more.

Adam Blister I think what the dude above meant was “what other band can sing a song *that* Johnny Cash *would* *later* remake (i.e. cover a NIN song). I hope that’s the case anyway; their phrasing is wonky so I did my best at interpreting what they were trying to communicate (...and if I have to tell one more person that “Hurt” was originally a NIN song, I will lose my shit, so I feel ya).
