In the books, Varys literally plays Tyrion at every single turn they speak. He tricks Tyrion into removing most of Littlefingers men from power and replacing them with his own(just as an example, the captain of the gold cloaks in the book). Tyrion constantly narrates in his head how good he is at politics and how great he is at the game , and Varys is always quick to reinforce this and compliment him, when in reality he literally gets played like a fiddle by Varys.

Man, the dynamic between these two is amazing and they are so smart and cunning. I wonder what they'll be up to in later seasons, if they should ever find themselves in a position where they both work together for the greater good!

great foreshadowing at the end of the scene with the fire in the foreground.

I love just the casual scenes like, two smart people shooting the breeze, almost being able to be honest with each other but always gaming

What the hell is happening at 0:33? How is Varys standing in front of Tyrion?😂
