This Ninja Kitchen recipe for a simple crusty white loaf is perfect and so easy to do using the Ninja Prove function. We like to serve it still warm cut into big chunks with a bowl of hearty home made soup. See our other You Tube video for a quick and easy Pressure cooker Potato and leek soup.

300ml Warm water approx 35C
1tsp salt
2 1.2 tbsp olive oil
250ml Cold water

Just letting you know i have made this bread in my ninja many times now even playing around with ingredients. Sometimes half strong white flour with half whole meal, sometimes all strong wholemeal flour and my best of all is the white strong bread flour adding 2 tsps of mixed spice, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and 130g mixed fruit. All have turned out perfect. I no longer use my traditional oven to bake me bread. I have thanked you in the past for this and all your other tutorial videos for ninja 15 in 1 recipes, but i cannot thank you enough. Please continue 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Looks great. Just always thought salt killed off the yeast. So I always blossomed the yeast separately before adding to the salted flour.

Just keep the dry salt away from the dry yeast

I finally had time to make this bread today, i altered the recipe a little by using half white flour and half wholemeal blended together. Everything went fine until the end of bake. My bread was slightly scorched on top so maybe it had risen too much or a needed it alter the timing via a few mins. Tastes gorgeous though

Hi. First time making bread so very new for me. It tastes really nice but the consistency is quite stodgy and dense. Wondering if I didn’t knead the dough enough or added too much flour whilst kneading. Going to try again but any advice on where I might be going wrong would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there, try adding a bit more yeast that should help. Also you can try kneading for less time. Hope that helps 😀

made this yesterday, it was lovely initialy, but a few hours later the texture had changed and it was a bit dence. did you find it the same

I didn’t because we ate it all when it was still warm 😀 I wonder if adding a little more yeast would help?

What programme do you use in ninja to prove at 35°C?

Move the slider to Air Fry/Hob and use the dial to choose prove. You can then use the arrows to select the right temperature. Hope this helps. Happy Bread Making!
