This man really got in the lab and learned the ins and outs of his character, instead of crying everything is broken. He proved D'Vorah can get the same type of damage off of 1 meter.

​@@toxicmelody6228 see its not the same "type of damage" at all tho, with liu when you guess wrong 30% of the combo that you eat is unbreakable damage, not to mention the fact that his f44 rc b21 fbf4 ex builds the bar it costs and is safe, devorah has a terrible wake up, 1 hit of armor that literally gets shredded by liu just pressing b1 and isn't safe on block, whereas liu's has multiple hits of armor and is safe, i do think devorah is a very, very strong character. but is frankly just beat out by liu in almost every way, her d2 is better, she has plus rc's which is cool but liu's in my opion are better because the ghost cancel exists, and she has some really nice forward advancing mids which liu lacks but that's about all she has going for her, i also feel like its worth mentioning i know how to play both of the characters (not to this level just to be clear), oh and i forgot to mention that liu can just kill you in the corner if he has bar cause after the fbf4 ex he can do 4 instant airs plus 2 ex instant airs into a grab, completely unbreakable. Honeybee isn't "crying" he's right, most of liu's pressure and combos i severely doubt were intended to work in the way they are. something else id like to say is that devorah's mixups are TERRIBLE against liu, she gets full combo punished for her f34 although i give it to you that's its a 1 or 2 frame punish so its not exactly easy, and her b1 well i mean unless you are exactly on top of the opponent in my experience its not likely to connect and will also get you full combo punished, and i forgot to add that liu's b12 rc isn't actually real but its hard to realize and react to that mid game. keep in mind that this is all data and objective, i love honeybee, i love ninja and I've never heard of waz till now but imma check his youtube out for some devorah tips. edit: sorry for the bible

@@natelozito8729 But every character got a if you guess wrong move, if you guess wrong everybody can do a Overhead, if you guess wrong everyone can be caught pushing buttons. Sure some characters have good tools, however we're acting as if D'Vorah had no type of tools in her favor such as: reach, smaller hit box, the best down 2 and etc. I understand your point but we can't act as if everything Ninjakilla did was the easiest thing in the world and everybody that uses Lui Kang can do the same exact things. This is what makes these guys masters, going in the lab and figuring out what their character can and can't do. No one forced Waz to use D'Vorah and no one force Ninjakilla to use Lui, of course it's not the same type of damage because they're two different characters. However using their characters effectively they found out how to get the most consistent damage with their respective characters=same damage.

I didn’t mention the execution for liu and Devorahs combos and that was my mistake, yes both of them are quite execution heavy, the point I’m making is while devorah especially swarm queen is a very strong character on account of the aforementioned qualities and the small hit box and d2 liu just has many more options in terms of pressure and hit staggers, hit confirms, damage, and zoning and the ghost cancel, I think liu just has more tools at his disposal, not an easy feat against devorah in particular, as she has quite a bit against most characters, also the different characters different type of damage isn’t the point I was making with that statement, I was referring to breakable/unbreakable damage, in which case quite a few characters have those combos, Cassie, kitana, liu, tremor, reptile. Just off the top of my head. Also liu’s f44 is a very easy hit confirm, at least for me, which means it’s definitely easy for ninja, which devorah does not have with her low, while liu lacks an overhead starter as you saw in the honeybee game the “don’t block overhead” doesn’t really work because of his b2 which I think at one point ninja did 5 in a row of. For the “not everyone can do what he does” I’m perfectly aware of this in fact I’d go as far as saying he is one of if not the best mkx player, I know quite a lot of people chalk up him beating the shit out of everyone to the “it’s a broken character he’s not good” and that’s simply not true, he plays all of his fundamentals impressively but from experience (took me 7 hours to land my first 50 w liu, I can barely do lius 50% to this day, I struggle with the instant airs quite a bit but when your at the top level, you expect to see every person playing their character well and if we imagine that everyone is playing their character to their full potential then I believe liu is most definitely S+ tier and would win most of the time The last line (not going to copy and paste)it is plainly not true I think what your thinking of is optimal vs non-optimal, in which case I very much agree. But that’s not what we are talking about, a single bar for half your health should not exist on a character like liu who has so many meter building tools. It might be acceptable if the meter system was different but like I said, liu builds meter off his pressure, and quite a lot of it, 1 bar is nothing to him. it’s worth mentioning that devorah CANNOT get the same damage off her mixs b1 exdf1 does not connect, f3 exdf1 does not connect (her low and overhead respectively) and connecting the exdf1 is exactly how you reach the same numbers ie her 45 off f11 exdf1 b jip f44 f44 f44 rc 21u3 dL1 relies on whiff punishing One thing I realize that not a lot of people talk about is that often times you end up playing the player instead of the game, conditioning mixing, etc. which ninjakilla does a very good job at doing as well as honeybee Last thing I promise, and again I forgot to say this, I don’t think honeybee preformed at his best in that ft13, and wazminator put up a much much better fight, maybe he wasn’t focused or maybe he just wanted to go watch the kombat kast idk but I have seen him preform to a higher standard than what I saw in that ft13 Sorry for the Bible pt2
