And even if they used only MARIO's music, it'd still be wrong. The Super NES had absolutely amazing audio capabilities and some things you couldn't find elsewhere. The reploid war's most electric tune of the twenty-second century? Mega Man X's Spark Mandrill. The most powerful piece of classical music for the post-Apocalypse, nearly countering the Magic being flung during its scene? Final Fantasy VI's Dancing Mad. Some chill vibes to climb some still vines? Donkey Kong Country's Aquatic Ambience. This jank was rad and it was global. The N64 was slightly more capable, but it was its own thing. But just listen to those song and tell me you don't FEEL. Deep down, you know it can't be true.

i got n64 in 1997 when i was 7, it was easter and my birthday they fell on the same day that year. I didn't even know what it was, there was no internet yet. We had a super nintendo that's what I was used to. Bro, my dad came home from work with a copy of Super Mario 64, and it straight blew my brains out. That game still holds up today. Damn gaming from the 90s to the early 2000s was a treasure. In that respect I was lucky to have grown up when i did.

the shift from SNES to n64 was just gigantic. I used to play Super Mario World but then I played once Mario 64 and i never touched the old game anymore. Unfortunately, I never owned a n64. I had to visit my friend to play this game and there was always a battle who's turn was it. it took many years after I got a Play Station after all. I can just imagine the joy of people who owned a n64 after they got tired of the SNES. -___- that kid in the video looks like it was his happiest day of all time.

I was confused but grateful and didn't dwell on it. We went out for a bit and we we came back another bigger present had magically appeared on the couch. It was the N64! Best present ever to this day! We had just moved to the States and had gone through some hard times including a brief period of homelessness and unemployment so I appreciate very much the efforts my parents made to make that Christmas so special. Late 90s and early 2000s were the most magical time in gaming. 2D to 3D, start of open world games, the beginning of online gaming, GTA, Diablo, StarCraft, Halo, Spyro, CoD, Splinter Cell, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Resident Evil 4 etc. The amount of instant classics that came out 95-2005 is staggering, the true golden age.
