@@gregsanders61 Id say 2 is way more expensive and has way more options. In 1 you can't play as heroes and the classes are a bit limited. 2 is an overall upgrade but 1 still has a charming appeal and is just simpler and easier to navigate. Maps like Jabbas place and Rhen Var are awesome to just mess around.

I want to point out a detail people might miss: Endless Ocean is a Nintendo IP that has not received attention in 17 years, and only had 2 other installments. For those of you thinking that F-Zero, StarFox, or other “lost” Nintendo IPs will never get reboots, let EO3 be a sign to you. If an IP with 2 installments and little recognition can get a reboot, anything can.

I don't know how people are calling this direct bad, it's literally fine. Penny's Big Breakaway, Epic Mickey getting remastered, giving Suika game actual online multiplayer, a new Monkey Ball game, Pocket Jockey being free from Apple Arcade jail and World of Goo 2 are all bigs wins.

It’s called a partner direct for a reason boneheads. Never expect massive titles to be announced. Mother 3, Star Wars, Monkey Ball, World of Goo 2, SMTV, and Epic Mickey were still pleasant surprises. The shadow drop for Penny was pretty cool too. Ngl most of the other games didn’t seem particularly interesting.

Star Wars and Endless Ocean are the ones I was excited for, but that doesn’t mean any of the others are going to be bad. It just means I prefer those two franchises over the others. I am excited that NB is excited for Monke Ball.

@@mr.cheesytoad5845Endless Ocean and EO: Blue World were produced by Aurika, who is a 3rd Party company. Either PS1 or GCN had their first game, and several fish models in EO1 actually came from that first game. That said, the Endless Ocean series has always been a Nintendo-exclusive series, with the first 2 being only for Wii. But, similar to the original DKC trilogy, they were also made by a 3rd party studio.

Now that I have finished watching, I give it a 7/10. A couple of weird things that most people probably don't care about, and then a bunch of cool ports and remasters I wasn't expecting. Don't expect first party game from a PARTNER direct. P.S. That mofo that said this was worse than the farming direct needs to lie down and sober up. 😂

Battlefront collectionis hype. They even include the dlc from the xbox versions and 64 player matches from the pc version. I have the games on ps2 and now I can finally experience what I have been missing. People saying this direct is bad are trippin'. This announcement alone saves the direct. Edit: World of Goo 2 and some others look hype, too.

But if they had a brain they would realize that every partner showcase direct is all about third party announcements. And of course people think that big games will get announced and the switch 2 will get announced and all of that.
