Some folks are offput by the generational loss. I grew up with VHS so I know it can get particularly fuzzy, but the more I see it like this, the more it reminds me of what Dementia must be like for people as they go through the stages. Its like a representation of our fading memories of the past when we were young. as the years and decades go by our memories of the good times we had are gonna slowly distort until eventually it fades away forever never to be remembered again. This is how I feel as im entering 30 this year thinking back to the 2000s in my preteens and teen years. I know those good times wont last forever. eventually those memories will all fade away and will be forgotten.

I thought this was really quite cool, but the repetitious nature of the experiment meant that, compared to previous videos you've done like this, it became a bit stale by the end of it! I think that a better way to approach it (albeit it would've been a LOT more work) would've been to, for example, put at the very start of the video a supercut of the entire generation loss spliced together over the course of the BIOS screen startup, and then the rest of the video was the individual pieces! Still though, I know how much work these videos are to make, and I look forward to seeing more!
