Glad you appreciate the 3-analog control! It's a feature that really grabbed me when the Metroid game was first shown off. "Imagine: 3 analog inputs w/o the hassle of a physical 3rd stick!" I hope TONS of games utilize this feature!

I gotta say that I really am glad to have stumbled upon your videos in my feed a few weeks ago. You're presentation and delivery are spot on for reviews. Also, after watching the Game Grumps and you play Nintendo Land, I gotta admit that my desire to acquire the Wii-U has certainly been piqued. I promised after the Wii I'd wait and see with this console, but Nintendo always pulls me in with its 1st party software. The only question I have is: is the pad legit or a mehsome gimmick?

I got my Wii U yesterday aswell. Loving NSMBU. Havent even opened Nintendo land yet though because my friends are too busy preparing for Christmas to come play it with me. I totally agree Online Play shouldve been included in such a Multiplayer centered game

I can not describe the deceptive fun of Mario chase.

This game was a great preview of what kind of games the Wii U can bring.

I can only imagine how the decided what frachises to represent: "Okay we have one more space left and we've represented Mario 3 times with no Kirby or Starfox games, what do you want the last game to be?" "How 'bout an obscure Japan-only Famicom game."

If Nintendo can make a spin off Metroid game that is just like the Metroid mini game in this game, but with more levels, more challenges, and more multiplayer modes (as well as either make the ship slower or make the person faster). Then I will love Nintendo forever. Hey, if they can make Zelda Dynasty Warriors, then they can make this.

Great review. I admit that some of the games are not good by yourself but I played Octopus with some friends and alcohol and it was a blast.

I think you might have been a bit harsh on F-Zero. Despite what it says on the screen, you don't need to watch the gamepad. In fact, I found it easier to play watching the screen. It lets you see farther ahead. The obstacles are also pretty difficult to avoid later down the road.

I actually managed to play solo in team based mini-games. Only the vs. games required me to play with a friend.

you should've waited for the deluxe when they are restocked (at least in gamestop if you had no other choice, i got the deluxe at walmart and i live in Denver, Co so we are the ones to get somewhat lucky in restocks unlike the coasts who sell out till the next 9000!! years when they do restock
