He barks, of course. Anyone who has a dog knows there are many differnt kinds of dog barks, whines, squeeks. My dog Scooter - also a Jack Russell terrier -- saved my cat by giving a certain "distress" bark to me while looking out the window; I came and looked out and my cat was foaming from the mouth and nose and was in anafalctic shock; I saved him only because the dog barked an unusual persistent bark.

@NintenBas Well, yeah, considering Uggie is a trained actor. He is known for having important roles in the film "The Artist" and in "Water for Elephants". According to BAFTA, many people tried to vote for Uggie for the oscar, but they had to turn down those votes since Uggie's "motivation was sausages".
