New Nintendo Switch 2 leaks and rumors keep coming out as everyone is craving news for the next generation new Nintendo system and the successor to the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has officially not said anything yet regarding the new console but if it is indeed coming in 2024 when can we expect it? When will it be revealed and how will we get the information? I still think it will be announced in February and launch this summer, An summer release would help the holiday season sales as they will be able to restock. I think with how highly anticipated it is it will sell out like the PS5 did.

A Switch 2, no different then a pro, will push Switch sales past PS2 sales, I've been saying this since 2019. However, it won't sell beyond 20-30 M units, will flop like the Wii U, & Nintendo will be forced to compete with a home console with more power like they used to do. If you think a $400 tablet is going to fly off shelves like a $450 PS5 you got a wake up call coming.

I agree with so much. Expecting a tease then a showcase reveal to take place in March or early April. We'll get the name, price, specs etc. A few games may be shown like the new 3d Mario and Mario kart 9. The hype is about to get real. The 2024 switch2 train is almost ready!

I agree with most of what you said; but I will also add that they're going to release a "swan song" model for the Switch for the middle of the year. It will be basically a smaller Vita-sized digital-only Switch Lite; Nintendo will try and have both generations available; the handheld and the hybrid home console. Switch 1 will still be home to many indies and less impressive ports, while Switch 2 is getting the premium AAA games. This new model would be called the Nintendo Switch Pocket and will be bundled with different games depending on the color; a "Red Mario" model with Mario vs. Donkey Kong, a "Green Luigi" model with Luigi's Mansion 2 HD and a "Pink Peach" model with Princess Peach Showtime. It will be available for $200, digital game included. Physical versions would be available shortly after the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement so that retail boxes show compatibility between both models.

@@ActualAero Nintendo has a history of making last-minute models for their most succesful consoles, and this is the only way I can see the original Switch co-existing with a much more powerful Switch 2.

I mean i would love to see switch 2 on summer games fest but hopefully Nintendo would do a Summer direct and maybe reveal it there and maybe the presentation on July and release it on September or October around there! Cant wait for the new direct in February though!

It's so ridiculous seeing these geniuses saying that a new console is not releasing before 2026-2027 because the "Switch is selling well". Really? 10 years without a successor? That would be brilliant, especially in the Switch's case.

@@ActualAeroI liked your comment because I feel like it'd too little too late as well. I was really hyped for a Switch Pro when the OLED dropped. Got a PS5 1 year ago at retail price & can't go back to those graphics. Sorry Nintendo but I've moved on.

I find a 2024 release unrealistic unless they seriously push out the announcement this or next month and push the thing out for christmas holiday season or sth like that, so I am going with the expectation of 2025. Idk what the timeline would me, maybe wait until the literal day end of year-holiday sales end and release it middle of 2025, I will not pretend to know how these timings in markening work.

I don’t find it unrealistic at all since they only do like 5 month marketing cycles for a new hardware launch now. Gone are the days of announcing a new system a year before it comes out. They can easily just show it in like April or May this year and have it out by October/November

1:15 i could see Nintendo teasing Switch sucessor on the fiscal report and kinda hiting, they will do a information blowout on the summer(kinda like the 2017 january presentation for Switch, but in place of the summer/E3 Direct, we always have for Nintendo)

Nah my prediction is: January - Switch 2 announcement/reveal February - Nintendo Direct, announcing last games for current Switch, revealing first few games for new Switch 2 March-May - last few rollouts of current Switch games (remakes, patches of old games, etc.) June - Switch 2 specs announcement/reveal (more details for new console, explanation for new upcoming Switch 2 games being utilized on new device which were announced from Q1 Direct) July-September - last rollout of current Switch games September-December - Switch 2 release & new games releases

I would Not Call it switch 2 more like a complete new name and also if the new console would come out Nintendo would have announced in 2023 because the switch was announced in 2016 and released in 2017

The only way i can see Nintendo keeping the Switch model beyond a few more years without competing with a home console, is giving us a beefed up dock, 8GB RAM to combine with an 8 GB RAM Switch & its gunna be costly if they sell it seperate. I really dont see it happening

These are rumors. Some people in this comment section are saying that the next console will launch in 2025. If you don't have a gaming console right now, you should consider buying the Switch Oled model.

U guys r right it been 7years for the switch n the year of march of 2024 because the switch was released n the year of2017 and we don't count the year of 2017 the first year of the switch was 2018 for the anniversary for the first year release so it been at7 years the switch and the switch2 will last tell the year of 2027 or maybe longer tell the year of 2033 for the last year of the switch and switch 2 tell the next handheld console n release tell the year of 2034 and I hope the switch2 will cost like around $400 to$450 instead of$500and the switch2storage I want is 200gb of storage so the switch2 can play more triple AAA games like GTA5OR GTA6and I hope the switch2 will last5more then 5to8hours on the switch2 of battery life

I hope it comes out this year, I know that the switch out now won’t be able to handle dragons dogma 2 or other RPG’s down the road. It was very dumb that they released that “OLED” model, kinda pointless and I feel bad for anyone who bought it. Bigger doesn’t mean better. I also hope they don’t change the design that much; making a console that can be portable is genius, it’s the best console they’ve ever made

seriously… why does EVERY Nintendo YT channel have to always hype up the Switch 2? The Switch is still selling EXTREMELY well and I doubt we’ll get a Switch successor until 2026 or 2027 at the latest. Also, there is literally ZERO concrete evidence of it even existing. If the Switch 2 actually DID then Nintendo would publicly tell us

No the Switch isn't selling extremely well. It's actually been on a decline for the last few years now and last year PS5 was selling more than it. Waiting till 2026 or 2027 is ridiculous

@@pinksheep752almost every single game for switch in 2024 are ports/remakes, Nintendo does that when their consoles will get a succesor soon, switch doesn't have much time left as the main console, it won't die, but won't be the flagship no more, Nintendo won't just wait until switch fully declines and their brand is no more relevant
