i bought mine in 2009 when i was 7 lol. i remember later in the year i went to new york city and went into the big nintendo store and bought super mario galaxy. i played it a few times but for some reason it scared me as a kid so i stopped playing HAHAHAHA thanks to super mario galaxy though i was able to unlock rosalina really quickly in mario kart wii LOLLL

Sadly I lost my Wii in a House fire July of this year I bought it around 2009 and had it for a total of 11 years, I remember being a kid playing Lego games for hours on it and playing smash bros and Wii sports with my friends, those were Simple times.

Am so sorry bro I wish I could give you mine also I have the wii mote and nunchuk (Quick thing to note It’s not backwards compatible because it’s black) EDIT: After looking at my Wii, it turns out it had GameCube controller ports and memory card. So it actually IS backwards compatible

I still remember when I first opened my Wii, tearing apart the plastic, damaging the box, throwing it clear across the room and setting it up. Though my first game wasn't even a Wii game, I played Pokemon Collosseum all night lol

I have the RVL-001, the Black Model that is not backwards compatible with GCN games. It's still fantastic to see an unboxing of a really cool console that has been on the market for quite a lot of time..

Nooo that‘s sad to hear ! :( Have you tried cleaning the lens? Because that‘s the common reason why some wii‘s stopped reading discs. It‘s also pretty easy to clean it, you just need to be careful. Other than that you can always watch some tutorials, maybe they can help

I got one to bring back the “nostalgia”, it’s the og backwards compatible one and it’s still a blast! I love Wii sports bowling, who doesn’t? It’s my favorite console tied with the NES, they are both very different, but they are both very fun with some awesome games!

I’ll never forget Christmas morning as a very very young kid getting a wii and my and my little brother playing Mario kart.... having fun :) good times, and in my opinion, it’s the best console ever!

I remember being in 6th grade, waiting anxiously to come and play zelda TP. The beautiful thing was that it was also backwards compatible and still enjoyed Luigi's Mansion and other GC games. It felt so magical and high tech back then...

Back in 2018, the Wii was my SECOND console (The first one being the DSi) and my first games were JD3 and Wii Sports. I always played it after school and on the weekends. Now I have a Wii U, 3DS and Switch and I still play my used Wii and DS games on them. (I still use the wii for photo channel since the Wii U doesn’t have it for no reason)
