This is proof that a game doesn't have to have an M stamped on it or a ton of gore or "mature themes" or guns or sex or gratuitous violence or anything else, in order to be an experience that a core gamer can enjoy. Ubisoft knew precisely what Nintendo has always know, when they went into making this. They took notes, improved upon them, and out-Mario'd Mario this time around, and I love them for it. Looking forward to Super Mario 3D World, but this is my fav platformer so far, by far...

This is the REAL reason why I even bought a Wii U in the first place.

I think the wiiU and ps vita are going to give you the best experience.

Ah, that's what you meant. Well, while that's true, you gotta keep in mind that this game is mostly a Plaformer at heart. Most of its challenge is going to come from that side of things, and in some cases, having enemies that are too tough would be pushing levels over frustrating and into rage quit territory, which might not be healthy for the game.XD

I find this video's Gamespot's score to be questionable, because Tom McShea awarded Wii U version 8.0 instead of 9.0 due to those Murfy stages being dull.
