I’ve put about 10 hours into the game and it’s honestly very solid for being early access (this is not the final product). Controlling the camera at times can be a little weird when you’re placing furnishings, and the whole “stamina” system seems a little redundant right off the bat since all you need to refill it is to walk into your house and it’s full again. There is food that you can cook and eat to replenish it but it just doesn’t seem necessary with the easier, resource-free alternative (and he, there’s no “pay to refill your energy” system in place, so that’s a win at least). Overall though, this is a great start. There’s a good selection of items, clothing and furniture. Plenty of things that aren’t available to you right away that keep things interesting. If you’re even slightly excited when you see trailers for this, and are okay with paying into an early access title, then I’d say go for it!

Been playing since yesterday and while it was last minute decision, I don't regret getting it one bit. Super fun and tons of content!

It's actually pretty delightful.

I was sceptical going into it due to Gameloft being a primarily mobile developer but the game looks and runs really smooth. it has a lot of attention to detail, lots of stuff to do and is a love letter to Disney fans. I'm not a big Disney fan myself but I love life sims and this is really good for being early access.

I love this game so much! and i hope they continue with events and add holiday stuff like for halloween, christmas ect to decorate with. but obviously later on for an early access game i’ve had so much fun and when co op finally releases im sure it’ll be even better.

I was a bit skeptical by it because it's made by Gameloft, but it's looks better than what I thought it would come out like. It's reminds me of My Sims and Animal Crossing, which I like. Welp it's going free to play next year, it's most definitely going to get riddled with microtransactions like all Gameloft games.

Wish this game had an online service. That'd be so much fun!

I just started the game and I love it, it's really fun and I hope the add more characters and outfits. I hope they add Hades or maybe Jafar, Dr. Facilier, or Captain Hook.

This is something I talked about with my dad. I said "You know, I'd gladly platinum trophy this game if I could play it for my four-year old niece. I bet she's into magical Disney stuff. Buy the game and every Saturday, I'd play it for three hours streaming with Olivia." I wonder what the villains are up to if they are helping you.

Yes it’s early access and some bugs needs to get sorted out but get this game! You won’t regret it.

The biggest thing I wish for this game (I have not tried it and dunno whether it is in or not) is that all kinds of games and props that you can put in the environment would be somehow interactable. What eventually got me so bored about Animal Crossing, is how it all of it ended up being cosmetic and since I had no friends to show the world to, just making a pretty looking world and not really having anything to do or enjoy in there, it lost me. (Or what do people usually do when the feel like their home is ... finished? Maybe I'm missing something :S) Don't get me wrong, I love customizing all kinds of stuff, making and decorating bases in games and such, but in the end if there's no further purpose for making all of that, like Minecraft still having enemies I escape to my base/house, or other aspects like that which provide a challenge (or some extension to interactions with the gameworld), it just seems like it's collecting for ONLY collecting and nothing more. If I could have some minigames with the items I can buy - like those games at 2:50 and then challenge a character to airhockey or play a little minigame in those arcade machines, or buy 2 goals and a soccerball and be able to actually play soccer with an NPC in some way etc, it would go a long way even if they weren't the most complex of games. Little things like that do quite a lot to enjoying a world imo.

Looks super fun, kinda has a Disney Magical World + Sims vibe to it. Any reason to buy the early access packs over waiting for it to become free?

This game could be resemblant to Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition and the Kingdom Hearts games. I would like for them all and this game to be made a movie along with all the bonus stories once Disney Storyline Studios is born. The same can happen for the Cars video game and there can also be shows based on The Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, Star Fox, Xenoblade Chronicles, Final Fantasy, Bayonetta and Castlevania.

I'm surprisingly hooked on this game despite the bugs. Crashes fairly predictably if I play longer than 30 minutes; though it does auto-save, I've taken to saving manually after doing anything important. Regardless, it's just the charming, calming, fantasy distraction from life I need right now. ETA: I'm playing on Switch

Wish this was just a flat charge for the game without a bunch of “upgrade packs.” It makes me not want to bother playing knowing that the microtransactions are coming for me.

Bought the game on impulse. INSANE amount of glitches! And they haven’t been fixed. I can’t even progress in the game because of one of the glitches. I play it a lot and I enjoy it for the most part, would be great if the list of glitches were fixed

Was expecting sinister, predatory paywalls, gated energy mechanics & general Metaverse-esque cringe... Instead it's wholesome, good, relaxing fun. Surprising amount of freedom, surprising amount you can do without being gated, surprising amount of heart poured in here, especially in the character animations like Scrooge briefly hesitating before handing you ANY kind of reward. There's little touches here and there that make it more than the sum of its parts.
