This is actually the first time this game is on a nintendo console. This is the xbox/playstation version of the game. Nintendo had a seperate much more cartoony wii version, (wasnt that great) so im glad they are using this one.

Personally, I enjoyed the Wii version, but yeah, I'm glad the Switch is getting the PS4/XBox1 version.

Yea I had the Wii one, it was motion controlled and it was amazing, plus i was a kid so the cartoony look was a perfect fit for me.

It's funny because I watched the 2016 film earlier this year, and when discussing it with my brother, expressed how much I'd love to have Ghostbusters: The Video Game rereleased on modern systems, and the *next* day, this remaster was announced. It's time to see the Ghostbusters 3 I wanted all these years!

The game even references the infamous NES Ghostbusters with a computer in the firehouse showing the infamous Engrish end screen and the Ecto-1 having a ghost trap on top is lifted from the NES game. I almost wonder if the devs got the idea to include them because they saw the AVGN video way back when and thought it'd make for a fun nod to both AVGN and the Ghostbuster's more infamous days in gaming.

I picked my copy up at GameStop this morning. This remaster runs so much better on the Switch than the original did on the PS3/Xbox 360. It's a great game and doesn't break the bank. Everyone should check this out!

You can tell that Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd contributed to the game’s script because the line “Now she calls my name” by Venkman is the type of dialogue that would’ve fit perfectly in a Ghostbusters movie.

To many people, GB:TVG is their "GB3"; at least close enough, anyway since all four actors reprised their roles for the last time together before the late Harold Ramis' passing. The upcoming one that's going to release next year in 2020 is pretty much takes place 30 years after the first two films as well as GB: TVG.
