In Nintendogs + Cats for the Nintendo 3DS you are able to unlock a Robot Dog. Follow these steps to unlock.
1. Earn Trainer Points. Trainer Points can be earned by giving your pets love and attention. Winning competitions, walking your pet, etc. can earn these points. You will need a lot to get your Robo Pup
2. Get the voucher. At about 5,000 trainer points I unlocked the voucher at the Second-Hand Store (points needed to unlock may vary). Collect a large amount of recyclable material on walks and the store owner will give you the voucher.
3. Find the required items while walking
4. Pick out your pup!
5. Subscribe to me!

Whenever I played the game, I constantly took my corgi for a walk hoping for enough stuff. Years later, I haven't played the game. But after remembering it, I want to start back up to get enough stuff for the robopup

I have I think over 1K owner point like 7K or maybe even 17K when I was smaller I played it ALOT, like ALOT! Now I'm into other things, watching videos like these inspire me to play again. Anyway all I did was just unlock the Robopup ticket and buy it.

2 years later where to get what for your robopup Wood- mountains Metal- town (I think) let me know Rubber- town Leather anywhere tbh but I would say normal street Plastic- Seaside Stardust- rare can be found anywhere but mostly in the seaside (i think) Hope this helps

What version of nintendogs + cats do you need that has robodog in? I had the poodle one and I couldn’t find the voucher/robodog.

Any version. You need 11k owner points or more, and launch the game 34 days in total to unlock the voucher.

he means you actually play for 35 days stright, or go to your settings go ahead one day, log back on pet your puppy and other stuff (Competitions dont work) then go off and do the same again 35 times

@cagnettapuccia No I checked, you need to get a Robopup Voucher for each time. It won't appear in the Kennel unless you have at least one Robopup Voucher.

@mrpuffle3000 Did you know that Owner Points are not needed? There is an alternative way to unlock everything, and that is by going on it every day. Every day that you play the game, you unlock something new. It takes 34 play days to unlock the voucher. I only have 4000 points, and I've just got a day to go until I unlock the voucher. Hope that helped.

@Megadoomable lots of trainer points like 5,000 or something and you have to take it on alot of walks, competitions, love it, feed it every day, etc...

To get a RoboPup early, I managed to time travel on my 3DS for many days. It took only up to 3 days to get a RoboPup.

Go on walks and that's something you find in the present box. You just get them randomly

I have 6430 points and all the breeds unlocked but i dont have the robopups, what else should i do? I walk my 2 dogs a lot, and both ( mostly my jack russell ) win every contest. I also pet, feed and play with them and my cat, and they all are "ideal" and "beautiful" what do i do??!!

u can have up to 6 pets right???? i have 5 at mo but im planning to get rid of my matese shes bad and competions and shes realy annoying then i might remove more to get maybe 3 robo dogs called Candy ( a pink one,female) Sky (a blue one, female) and Ollie ( a red one, male) then after that a robotic home :P
