There's a skill you can get where you dodge and get an automatic ki pulse. I think there's another one where you you pulse when you switch stances.

For the ki pulse, you can also watch the particles around your body. They spread out during attacks, and then start to gravitate back toward your character. When they are close to you, ki pulse, and you will get all your ki back. This is the visual way to do it without watching your ki bar.

The sword is fittingly although perhaps surprisingly one of the hardest weapons in the game to master. It is also VERY dependent on skills for damage, so it gets a lot better later in the game when you have higher proficiency with it

Toyo is the blacksmith that you go to in the first nioh. The callbacks to the original nioh in this game are just really nice. Like Easter eggs if you will. I hate this game but I love it at the same time

Loving the vids afro! One tip though for dealing with most larger Yokai because this is a lifesaver for me, if you break their horns itll deplete their stamina. The best way to do this is to just go into high stance and mollywhop them. That stance gives you the best chance with whatever weapon you're using to attack high enough to get the horn. 👌
