I agree in terms of offensive power, onmyo build is one of the strongest. Its very very easy to apply confusion to enemies. But if you go for unlimited onmyo, the character gets pretty weak and pretty much dead in one or two hits at the depths.

For big yokai i would say lady osakabe, kasha has this delay starting animation and dont really stagger enemies. But shes better for human bosses though

Nope. The life recovery on yokai ability hit is good but you can get that inherited with basically any other soul core if you look for it. The spinning flame wheel is very inconsistent, slow to use and leaves you open to attacks, it’s also very annoying playing with people who use it, it’s quite obtrusive. I’d say it’s one of the worst soul cores in the game actually.

@@waynestatic9614 Well ive used the Kasha soul core through all 5 difficulties and 108 levels of the underworld and 30 levels of depths of the abyss. Im a Nioh veteran with platinum trophies in both Nioh 1&2 and over 1200hrs on both games. Kasha damage is the highest of all the soul cores, it also has an amazing CC on multiple enemies. Its actually fast to release and you also get a small window of invulnerability when casting Kasha. It is the best core against big Yokai and has a good staggering effect. Its only inconsistencies is in small areas, inside buildings ect. Which is the same for most cores. It has one of the best tracking AI's and its damage is great against all enemies, even fire resistance enemies because of its very good base damage. Its fire proc is instant and has good DOT. You calling it the worst soul core just tells me how inexperienced you are in Nioh and im guessing your still on NG+ Dream of the strong difficulty. 😂😂😂 If you just said you dont like it and prefer other cores or have another favourite then i would say fair play to you and whatever works for your build. But to call the Kasha core the worst is an idiotic statement to make and saying its intrusive is likely because your doing co-op all the time to help beat those early level bosses. Either that or your head is spinning like a purple kappa. 😂😂😂

@@MetalGearTenno Hahahaa! Somebody is very defensive about their favorite soul core, lmao! All cores can be effective if used in the correct way. Still though, kasha yokai is slow, inconsistent damage and does not provide effective defense during it's start up attack. You can try if you want to attack my nioh prowess but you would be mistaken. I cleared the depths nearly effortlessly solo and when i try to help others with the depths with online expedition some of them use kasha core and guess what happens to them? Dead. They're all dead. Lol. I'm tired of ressurecting everyone.

You can but it will be a tough battle, Kasha is quite helpful. The only trouble would be ren hayabusha with his bullshit evasion and one shot shuriken

It's a drop you can get from Tate Eboshi. You'd just have to keep fighting her till she drops it

- Magic and constituion 200 & 150 - omoikane grace & spirit of genmei for unlimited onmyo - the fox guardian spirit - lady osakabe soul core is pretty much mandatory to stagger big yokai. - arc of chaos skill from switchglaive is best to deal with human bosses

@@zsoltkappel obviously its not 100% unlimited. I did test using genmei + tsukoyomi and overall i get more ‘untouched’ with genmei + omoikane, around 10-15% i guess.

I’ve only played till dlc 2 but for me my banes rn would be toshimitsu, first samurai otakemaru and yorimitsu or shibata 😰😰

I had the worst bosses on my final floor. Nobunaga, then Toshimitsu the cheating odachi mage scum, then came one hit kill you cheater Ren Hyabusa. Nasty sure but when you get that far in the game you are already prepared for the game to screw you over as usual. I smoked their asses.

Took me about a month, although I wasn't rushing it and was killing each and every mob on the planes
