SPOILERS - Quick video on gaining blacksmith patronage levels fast. Seems to work best when you first rescue her grandfather. Also works when you get unique dialogue, respond positively, and spam X fah days!

Nioh is an action role-playing video game developed by Team Ninja for the PlayStation 4. It was released worldwide in February 2017, and was published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment internationally. Gameplay revolves around navigating levels and defeating monsters that have infested an area. Nioh takes place in the early 1600s during a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period, when Japan was in the midst of civil war prior to the ascension of the Tokugawa shogunate. A sailor named William, in pursuit of an enemy, arrives in Japan and is enlisted by Hattori Masanari, servant to Tokugawa Ieyasu, in defeating yōkai that are flourishing in the chaos of war.

As of Ocober 22, 2021 this still works! Just farmed 143 patronage levels in about an hour and a half!!

Still works in 6-12-2021. Doing it now immediately following the mission of saving the grandfather. Theres a comment in this thread somewhere that mentiones u get 1 patronage point per 35-45 x taps. This is spot on! 👌

Still works on 1.21 for me (Steam version), if a bit slow/random. Best way to go on the Pc is to create a macro that spams the E key, set it to run continuously and you're set.

I just did it. Worked for me(patch 1.22 on November 27 2019) Thanks very much. As a side note this glitch never worked for me before i saved her grandfather Muramasa. Hope this helps. ;)

Just did it and maxed out all request levels. Keep in mind it doesn’t work until you complete the “Trail of the Master sub mission. On PS4 as well.

After some testing, this does still work as of May 11, 2023, and I have reached the final mission of the game. However, it only works if I talk to Tome, and only once I had a patronage point waiting to be spent already. WIth 0 points, it didn't work at all.

Wow. It work even when I got to the area past the bath house where you rescue the grandfathers. It's work with Tome. I haven't tried it with the grandfathers dialogue, Muramasa I think his name is. But I got three points in about 3 or 4 minutes with Tome. Thanks for the tip man!

Do you have toy have a special dialogue? Or does it have to be right after you get the grandfather? Or can it be anytime anywhere?

You can do it right after you get the old man. Or what you can do if you have already gotten the old man is talk to her after a few quest, gotten a few smithing texts, or forged items a few times. And once you do that she might have unique dialogue. For example I got one where she talked about her eye being in pain. After that she gave me patronage point to spend. If you don't use it. You can spam the talk button to talk t her and get them infinity. Note: You don't have to be in region four from want I tested. I only tried it in the higher level places not the first second and third. Also you can spend you points how ever you please but don't use them all before getting all your points you need to stay above 1. Because if you use all of them you cant get anymore from the exploit. You will have to find another way for her to activate new dialogue to start the exploit up again.

Works. Did it right after getting the grandfather. I went ahead and bought a reincarnation book to help coax some special dialogue. Seems like its about every 30 button presses gives you a point. Took me about an hour and a half to get to 120.

9th April 2023 and it works perfectly on PS5 Remastered edition.. immediately after saving the grandfather I clicked on speak to tome for about an hour and got it all.. if it stops giving you points exit do a mission and come back

Only at the start of region 4. Have not touched it yet. Will plan on beating it today once I wake up xD Maybe not beat it, but get the master blacksmith to try this. Game is getting frustrating x.x The missions are harder than the bosses in them for some reason for me. I do like 1k dmg (probably low) to a lot of the bosses and melt them while normal enemies give me a hard time.

I completed all missions without ever thinking of platinum. Now I miss few trophies and I have 20 millions I never spent to Tome. I read that to unlock this trophy without glitches I must spend 60 millions ._. It can be boring! Unfortunately the glitch doesn't seem to work now

Just buy book of reincarnation over and over again and sell divine items, it's really easy to get the trophy, sadly the glitch stops working when you go in to ng+ so I don't have everything.

You have to spend enough gold to get dialogue options. Trying soul matching or forging a bunch of stuff and see what happens.

Doesn't seem to work anymore, or if it does its insanesly slow, although I was thinking you could reinstall the game and not allow updates would probably work, haven't tried it yet though. This trophy is will be insanely time consuming without it, 1 play through, only 30 requests

Yeah, might even try the old Skyrim trick of forging the cheapest weapon or armour to see how many times i have to do that to get a request.
