The Sloth Talisman may be a bit easy mode, but it's great if you're having trouble in the second/third region of the game.

Nioh is an action role-playing video game developed by Team Ninja for the PlayStation 4. It was released worldwide in February 2017, and was published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment internationally. Gameplay revolves around navigating levels and defeating monsters that have infested an area. Nioh takes place in the early 1600s during a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period, when Japan was in the midst of civil war prior to the ascension of the Tokugawa shogunate. A sailor named William, in pursuit of an enemy, arrives in Japan and is enlisted by Hattori Masanari, servant to Tokugawa Ieyasu, in defeating yōkai that are flourishing in the chaos of war.

Combine sloth with the thunder debuff and you can cheese every boss in this game. Sloth is ridiculously OP.

Easy Mode? I would say that Nioh is just not playable without it. It is a must use in my opinion. Many bosses are so fast and leave so little open windows, especially in the 3rd DLC, that I had to use it.

How long does the slow down effect last? I've not seen or found anyone mention that point yet.

There are major balance issues here. Those sloth talismans are useful for controlling a tough room (example: I fell in a hole with 3 mages and an ogre, then slowed the ogre while I dealt with the mages), but as a tool against bosses, they're much too strong. A possible fix would be to steepen the jutsu cost, shorten the duration, make it so you can carry only one, and/or add a penalty to your character while they're in effect. Or maybe they could make the effect's duration relative to the enemies strength--the stronger the enemy, the more quickly they'd return to normal speed.

yeah once you get it fully upgraded it makes some of the bosses a joke. It makes it way too easy to sloth, then transition into living weapon and kill everything before they even get off an attack.

It should be called the "Anti-Fun Talisman." It's so OP, you'd think it was a hack! They're adding PVP, yeah? Hopefully that will spur them to rebalance it, because I already have revenants firing it off left and right.
