The Hayabusa set is my favourite in this game, but something I can't unsee with it is the fact that for some reason the Hayabusa Kusarigama has cloth physics on its chain and it flaps like crazy in the slightest breeze

Getting back into nioh after almost 3 years, still great to see my fav build, starting a new file to remember how to Nioh.

Infinite Shuriken combined with "slow down enemies when hit with Ninjitsu" and "Anima gain when the enemy hit with Ninjutsu" is so OP.

This is actually a really strong build from about level 170. I have been using it for a few days and it absolutely tears through everything in Way of the strong. Great fun.

I know this is an ancient video but just a heads up for people who have doubts about this set in abyss; it works perfectly fine. I have heard people saying "Hayabusa sucks for abyss". Just ignore them. I am at floor 800 atm and had no hardships to get there to be honest. I tried other builds as well but none of them is so fun to play like Hayabusa. As a final note; if you know about the glitch that allows you to change the innate ability of your weapon, you can make this build stronger. I have changed Yokai Close Combat Damage on Dragon Sword with Close Combat Damage and it made this build even better. Thanks for your hard work an amazing builds once again PWAR. Cheers!

Ninja Gaiden 2 is my all time favorite game, the stairs with the crazy amount of ninja you have to fight at once. Izuna Drops with the True Dragon Sword, it doesn't get any better than that.

This is great - I used a Hayabusa build with Izanagi - leveraging rejuvenation and leeching to get massive damage - no sloth needed - sometimes LW to get out of tight jams - I am at Abyss 450 - really enjoying the challenge of those double bosses in the Abyss

I'm glad this set turned out decent, 21%+ from the full set is quite good for a non-critical build to be honest. If I get to a good point in my LW scrub setup I'll give this one a try. I miss Sword, and obviously Kusa is going to be good in LW as a backup as you say. With a piece of Fanatic this should actually come pretty close to Susano in terms of practical damage (meaning, there's only so much damage you NEED to do), maybe 20% lower or so. I'm thinking I'd mix this with an Iga piece and use one of the new Grace 3pc bonuses like Izanagi with an accessory that gives Ninjutsu Life Steal, this would double up on the "toss a Shuriken, hit the thing" playstyle. Your spec is on the right track, both weapons scale secondarily in Skill, so max that with CTA, then Dex and Heart as the primary stats for either weapon. Most builds can max 3 stats to 200 and the added Attack from Body or Strength respectively would barely make a difference after each weapon has two 200's. I sort of wish they had classified Dragon Sword as a Tachi instead of an Uchigatana to make this even more clear.

Videos like this make me realise just how badly I suck at this game. I completed the main game on the basic difficulty at least...

This is how they should have made the ninja gaiden series would have been so much better imo hopefully they do something similar if they ever release ninja gaiden 4 or a reboot but with more RPG elements and tough boss fights.

Yo can you tell me if ninjutsu power effects stuff like the paralytic groundfire? Making a build with Hino Emna helm and paralysed CCD+ accessory and was considering getting my ninjutsu power up if it helps getting the baddies stunned. Thanks

I noticed on your dragon sword you had CTA heart. Is it better to have A for heart, because right now im using CTA skill since 200 is in skill and then leveled up heart second

Just returned to Nioh after getting the plat in the original. Waited till all 3 DLCs were out and now learning and re-learning a lot. Have discovered this channel and really happy about all the great content here! Going to go back and watch some old build vids - can anyone recommend some good ones to work toward for completing all the Way of the Demon missions? I think I have a pretty good idea for the other end game builds after watching all the videos on ethereals, but for right now, I need to get a strong enough build to get me there! :-) Thanks to PWAR for a great channel and thanks to any help from others!

Ah man i hope this set comes to nioh 2. I just love katana and kusa. Never really use ninjitsu other than the scrolls but this was my go to in nioh 1. Sword and kusa damage and shuriken to smash blocking enemies ki. Atm in nioh 2 im running 3 piece Yatagarasu and 5 piece kingo with a water kusa and yata sword. Such a good build but i miss my Dragon Sword

Can anyone explain the sequence of buffs he is employing? I think I got ... 1. Leeching (attack buff & crit buff when life hits crit). 2. Tiger Running Scroll. 3. What is that one at 21 seconds? Quick change scroll? 4. Extraction (bonus to attack amrita buff) 5. Is this one kekkai or Pelaides perhaps at 22 seconds (looks like 2 hands with lines)? 6. Is this one Carnage at 23 secs (man or plus sign thing with radiating lines on the left and right)? 7. Steel to remove the Carnage debuff perhaps (bonus to attack purging applied here?). 8. Leeching again. 9. Paralyze for the Dragon armor buff.

Now that the limit of the skills is 200 what would you upgrade for your perfect susano? And with the changes to kigetsu?

What about Toughness? I get staggered with every hit using this build . Please help

Been using your Susano build for a while and decided to try this one. Not sure what happened. I have all the gear, same rolls and I'm max level and I couldn't get the damage I see in this video. Where you hit for 124k, mine will hit for about 55k. Any idea why that might be? For now, I'm sticking to the Susano since I can easily hit 200k with my kusa. Too bad since I like the idea of this and the sword is so nice. Anyway, love you videos, keep it up. Looking forward to Nioh 2 :D
