Welcome to the very first episode of 'Nipper the Resto Man'! 🎉 In this episode, you're in for a real treat as I get my hands on a classic Scania 143M. Alongside special guest Trucker Tim, we're fitting the cab onto this iconic lorry 🚛. The sweat 😅, the laughs 😂, the inevitable mishaps - we've captured it all. Thing is Nipper is a good balance to Tim. Tim is more into the newer stuff whilst nipper likes the older ones more. So both it is 😂

I love those 143s i used to drive an ex Ron wood one with twin eminox , dam did it sound sweet , i had to drive with the windows open and loved flooring it to hear the roar of that V8 , best truck I've ever driven and love manual boxes these auto boxes take the enjoyment of driving away.

really looking forward to following all your projects nipper and seeing what is involved with restoring retro trucks. just looking at what you and your team have done with the 143's is exceptional!! can you do a series of history/walk around vid for each of the trucks please? always fascinating knowing were they have been, who's owned them and what work has been done etc. spent a lot my child hood in a very early F10 with my dad so the F10 in the shed is a particular favorite. best regards Sam

Nipper is where it's at, quality content. I also love the 143M, still looks as good now as they ever did, V8 version sounds awesome. DJI mic works well and well placed, but get your editing guy to bump up the dB's a few or process the audio through a voice volume leveller, depending on what software he's using, it's not bad just a tad low, it's just what I usually do with a lot of the videos I work on; voice dialogue you wanna be aiming for around -6dB, and if you ever use music, no louder than -12dB. Proper happy the truck models went within 3 hours, more than well deserved, and they do look proper smart. Also reckon your support van is one of the best looking around.

Brilliant content Nipper, the A series ERF looks like its fresh from the factory, spent all my time as a kid in one with my dad pulling whisky all over Scotland in the 70's, ended learning to drive in an A series at John Mitchells, now a Scania man driving a next Gen series but prefer the old manual trucks, lookjng forward to your new content

Hello there. I Remember all these trucks when they first came. I think the Paddy's got them first. They were very popular for the middle East run's. The ford transcontinental were a nice truck about that time also the large Bedford's with the Cummins and Detroit engines.

Hey Nipper my uncle had number 1 centurion when I was a kid. It was white and belonged to Ship~Link in Chatam, Kent. I traced it to Ireland recently its now a rigid painted green!
