Oh boy GDN I've always liked Nippon it was always intriguing a vibrant setting within the Warhammer universe. the idea of funeral warrior society like the samurai mixed with peasantry, really paints a vivid picture of unique and dynamic culture. I would love to see more lore and stories exploring the history and struggles of Nippon in the Warhammer world it adds even more depth to an already rich universe can't wait for more narrative lore about this old fascinating faction! Plus I love all the artwork that shown in this video, here is a Japanese proverb ( Nanakorobi Yaoki) which translates fall down several times get up 8 times, in resilience of perseverance that teaches importance of never giving up no matter how many setbacks or failure one my face, go Nippon." 🇯🇵😃👍🇯🇵

It's unfortunate that arguably one of the most influential producers of popculture within the past 10-20 years or so feels so uninspired within such an awesome setting as warhammer fantasy. But then again this did come out way before i was even born, and was never really touched sense then unfortunately

I imagen Nippon and Bretonnia would either get along famously or view each other as barbaric(despite being very similar in mindset).

Whoa, konnichi wa, and what an unexpected surprise, daimyo GDN; I did not see this faction coverage coming. Presumably, the clans of Nippon are the equivalent to 'houses' of nobility and regency in other human nations, within which multiple families are united. Theirs truly is a society obsessed with ritual and ceremony. Perhaps the most so in all the human nations of the Old World; perhaps even more pretensiously than the Bretonnians. Predictable contradictions persist with this, another caste-based society biased by design. Such as the attitude towards 'lowborn' monks, as the direct representatives of the national religion, or how the vaunted samurai deign to regularly (ritually) “entertain” themselves with outright non-people that are the geisha. “Laws and punishments for thee, exceptions for me.” All of these formality sanctioned changes of identity throughout any Nipponese's life...isn't all of that too confusingly much, for the Celestial Orders to keep track of through eternity? The tiresomely methodical, exhaustive processes of the arranged marriages are constrictive enough to deter that union outright. Opposite to that on the spectrum of life's milestones, regarding rituals for the deceased...”in your face, Heinrich Kemmler”, HAHAAA, good one, Narrator. Might as well go so far back as to spit it in the face of Nagash himself. For that reason on its own of foiling the undead, I would have to give credit to that specific Nipponese practice. Nippon's Jinto, while continuing to exude medieval similarities, also sounds like, well, all of manga and anime combined. Sure, this installment to your “Minor Nations” playlist was more extensive, GDN, but so too was this a previously neglected, unembellished land. I'll be looking forward to finding out how Nippon distinguishes from the other Eastern, historically secretive/ignored Warhammer Fantasy nations of the Old World.
