@subliminallyobsolete23524 жыл бұрын
@@mikem302 he just said you're not a person which isn't exactly a statement I agree with but does have some truth to it. It's part of human life to go through some tragedies that may make us feel depressed for a time and then there are those that are constantly eaten away by their brains. Either way we all feel some sort of sadness. Let's not jump the gun over a short comment that didn't even say anything about trends. It's not a trend to eat, we do it because it's something that our body needs and does. It's the same thing with sadness or depression( not saying they're the exact same but sadness is a symptom of depression)
@samo_benko_4 жыл бұрын
i imagine the audio is so distorted because he plays that track every day on his record player so it shows signs of heavy usage. sad thing is that this song is probably one of the last things that brings him joy and even that that is not permanent. therefore, the more he plays the song, the closer he is to losing it. yeah

@Ben Dover I hear you. I'm 39 now. I remember buying the CD of this (massively overpriced compared to today) in my late teens, listening to it, I had not much of a hope in life. Since then, I've done all sorts of thing. Got a degree, had a worthwhile job, got married, got a house, got divorced, lost the house, quit the job on a matter of principles. Through each of those times, I'd be down, anxious and listening to what we could call 'doomer' songs every so often. Now I'm 39 and now it's like I'm 18. Scared to face adult life once more, and tired of adult life to boot. Here I am listening to this song once more and I may as well be in my teens again. You're right. For some of us, it's not a phase, it's a bit of a life sentence and it's also us (for worse and for better). A state of mind, a state of circumstances. A feeling or knowledge that we don't fit in so easily and, for a good many of us, our main resolution is more about not becoming ingenuine rather than ambitions of stature which might inevitably mean compromising our own values. Or something ...

It's crazy cool seeing so many people relate to a meme that reflects us in such a deep way. I'm 23 and I lost my dad to suicide a week before school started when I was 14. I remember getting a bass and playing and singing this. My dad was a punk rocker turnt into a IT tech guy super smart, he loved Ministry, Beastie Boys, Dead Kennedys, Misftis (Danzig era), Samhain, The Adicts, Tool, Joy division, literally everything even techno like crystal castles he showed me them when I was in 5th grade super cool. Anyways, I like these videos cause I too love like this, I drank a lot and I slowed down and just smoke weed and work and listen to music and play bass. I'll be back for the next vid, take care peeps.

it'll all be over one day, all your troubles will be gone, all the things that made life great will also be gone. life is unpredictable, one day you'll listen to your favorite song for the last time, one day you won't see your friends or family ever again. no one knows what happens after death, even if you believe in the idea of an afterlife. everything is very unpredictable and unfair, but acceptance is key. once you can learn to accept that you'll die and you don't know what will happen after that, life will be worth living. times will pass bro, and i get that you may be stressed and in a really tough spot right now, but trust me you're doing so great and I'm so proud of you :)

Thursday, October 31st. The city streets are crowded for the holiday. Even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes. And I'm there too. Watching. 2 years of nights have turned me into a nocturnal animal. I must choose my targets carefully. It's a big city. I can't be everywhere. But they don't know where I am. We have a signal now, for when I'm needed. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call- it's a warning. To them. Fear is a tool. They think I'm hiding in the shadows. But I AM the shadows. I wish I could say I'm making a difference, but I don't know. Murder, robberies, assault- 2 years later, they're all up. And now this. This city's eating itself. Maybe it can't be saved, but i have to try. PUSH MYSELF. These nights all roll together in a rush, Behind the mask. Sometimes in the morning i have to force myself to remember everything that happened.

The phrase “it’s ok to eat fish cos they don’t have any feelings” refers to the fact that Kurt is a pieces and is saying he had no feelings and his life was so shit that he lived homeless under a bridge in the time space of 2 years, 2 failed suicide attempts and steeling booze and being neglected by everyone, even his own family. A lot of Billie eyelash fans say it’s deep but don’t understand the meaning of this song, the song is a documentary about his teenage years. All I’m tryna say is he claims he has no self worth.

I’m pretty sure Kurt didn’t mean that lmao his lyrics came from random poems he made, in an interview he said he never wrote anything that deep about his life until Serve the servants.

@@nonameman7114 do u trust him in that?
@nonameman71142 жыл бұрын
@@im_a_stain7874 I do, don’t know why he would lie about something like that (it’s possible but just highly unlikely). Melodies on the other hand, Kurt was kinda genius with coming up with melodies for songs. His philosophy for making music was more focusing on the rhythm and melody compared to the lyrics, probably because the guy didn’t have much to do in his free time growing up so he studied the Beatles writing process and wrote his own songs on his acoustic daily. That’s how I always understood it at least.
