@@captain_efurd4502the pain is not from heroin withdrawals , it's from not having pain relief for a severely painful stomach disease. This is a common misconception when it comes to drug use - that the person isnt self medicating, and that they are just "taking drugs for the fun of it" and then we label their symptoms as the drug instead of the actual root cause of the usage of the drugs. He was self medicating severe physical pain as well as severe mental illness, just trying to find relief and live comfortably. The police took away medicine he found had worked for him safely shortly before he ended his suffering during a mental health episode. Stigma surrounding drug use is such a plague.

Not yet 13 years old, with my uncle a little older than me who loved them as I would have loved them shortly thereafter, I was in that television studio in Rome... I didn't know who I was looking at, I knew them through hearsay, for a few song for some story. I would have loved them forever. If I had known that Kurt would be gone not even two months later, if my uncle had known. What would we have done for an autograph, an exchanged word, something like this interpretation and that day that we will never forget

Back then Krist was always goofing around and making a fool out of himself (in a good way of course). Oh, and he would never shut the hell up haha, which is why we love him. You look at him now though and he's always extremely quiet and just looks tired and down the whole time. Not to mention he hasn't aged very well either. I think Kurt's death really hurt Krist a lot more than a lot of us even think it did. That must have hit him really really hard.

This song is like the antithesis of Smells like teen spirit. From the first line "teenage angst has paid of well, now I'm old and bored", to the chorus (which is very nostalgic and all against the usual formula that they used mostly in the nevermind era). Also considering the fact that this is their opening song for In utero. One of their best songs tho! 🤘I wish Kurt would have stayed alive.

IICR, Kurt Cobain planned on retiring in late 1994/early 1995 after a last tour and album. He also wanted to live quietly and raise his daughter, possibly occassionaly releasing solo albums for fun on his own time. That's what I remember from dial-up internet in the mid/late 90s when I was researching into his death.

(like almost all of us, history will not remember my name when my clock runs out..) But history will never forget you Kurt. I’m 30, battling very similar demons with addiction etc, & it blows my mind to think you were 3+ years younger than myself when you passed. You accomplished so much in those 27 years.. Long live Kurt and Nirvana. bring the 90s back please.

Kurt along with the entire band from Nirvana changed the music industry from what it was back in the late 80's,to what we liked and supported in the early 1990's. We quickly went from,"JUMP" from David Lee Roth and Van Halen to,"Smells like Teen Spirit" Nirvana over night. It quickly changed the music sceen from long hair garage rock bands to Seattle new wave Grunge rock bands. It was a generational change that flipped the music industry completely around and if your band was from Seattle and your music was Grunge/Alternative rock you could make a huge name for yourself. All the band's we seen come from Seattle in the late 80's/ early 90's like Nirvana,Pearl Jam,Soundgarden,Alice in Chains all changed the music industry back then. But it was Nirvana first who received all the recognition and changed music as we knew it back then. It was amazing to see that's for sure. I love all those bands and listen to them each and every day.

What some have noticed about Kurt in 94- Krist said he never seen H in his life and spent the whole europe tour 94 with kurt everyday except for one day off.. and said kurt was clean and drinking heaps of water as far as he was concerned. Kurt fully shaved his face before feb 12 show and again before the final show. Clearly on top of things. The tour manager took kurt to doctor on march 2, his larangitis so bad he was told to take a long break from singing. Sounds like he was one of the few rock stars who never turned up late, never cancelled shows. Busy guy. The eye shadow on feb 14,15 for photo shoots made all these young fanboys claim he is high etc and out of his mind. nah, just mucking around. Kurt was always mucking around, he was a cynic and didnt take crap from anyone. he knew his worth songwriting creds and why everyone was watching him. he kind of goofed about and made fun of it all. most people are struggling to understand this. He deliberately doesnt talk much during shows. he likes rock n roll segway flow song into the next. A truly inspiring leader. dont get caught up in this depression thing just because he acts reclusive. its all part of his mystical approach to being so saught after.. he knew he was the shit and downplayed it. totally non narcissistic.
