This is how, I wish, all songs be registered with their respective history of origin. Sadly, most songs just float around in different tunes, lyrics and flavours with no clue as to who composed them each and what the original tunes are. Most of the songs, as years go by, morph into very different versions - tune and lyrics wise. And the worst, they keep getting twisted by every subsequent rendition and recording. It's sad and sick! Thanks a lot, Mr Tennyson, for giving us a tour of the song from its origin through journey.
