That's unfortunate you can't just purchase the solenoid. But like you said if you go to the junkyard it would be much cheaper. Thanks for sharing man! 🤟

So I checked the two fuses that may be the cause, they ware fine. I replaced the break light switch still having the issue. Would you say the assembly is the last thing to replace that should fix it ?

Ok. If your shift is still stuck in park & u still need to use the method outlined in my video after all youve done. Then yes the assembly needs to be replaced. Check Junkyard first

Yes . Mine pulled a code for p0746 pressure control solenoid on tranny .

I think the one under the shifter may be solenoid B I'm not sure . But the pressure control solenoid A appears to be on the bottom of transmission housing up front . Under a protective casing of the valve assembly . I'm no mechanic though

So is that shifter locked up or will it shift but not engage ?

Hi When the shifter no longer moves into drive reverse. U must push down like in the video to make it work. U must do this everytime after u put car in park

This video is just meant to show what everything looks like. When it locks but wont engage. U must push down on the park release button and then shift into gear. Again. U must do this each time u place the car into park

Mine will shift through the each gear on the shifter but it will not engage and drive . Pulled a code for p0746, pressure control solenoid. Thank you though

Hi Do u mean the car wont shift into reverse but u can shift it into drive?

If you can put the car in drive and it moves but shift to reverse and it doesnt go backwards. Your nuetral switch might be bad or your reverse gear has gone up and youll need a transmission shop to evaluate it. Make sure the vehicle has transmission fluid in it

U can look online. Amazon etc. My suggestion is to go to the junkyard. The dealer sells it as one expensive piece

U can check with your local autoparts store. But i think u have to buy the whole unit. I couldnt find it so i just purchased a used gear shifter from the junkyard. Plenty of Nissans there.
