We picked up a used SL '21 off lease a few months ago. It has the 20s rather than the 22s, so airing down a bit will be possible. I have a set of skid plates to install and am going to put on a set of AT tires. After then it's going to tow the trailer out out to the south west and do some mild-moderate off-roading while there. It seemed like the best combination of comfort, capacity, tow rating and off-road capability going at the price we paid.

Look up how Nissan's ABLS works. In 4 LO, the traction control system turns off automatically so that constant throttle can be applied. If traction control is on, it would cut power as soon as vehicle detected any slip. 4 HI does not automatically turn off traction control, fyi.

For a big V8 full size SUV the Armada is a great value, even better on a 3-4 year lease return. A comparable Lexus LX is almost twice the price

I am FINALLY getting one of these it looks like. They make an "S" trim with fewer bells and whistles again and the end of year incentives are crazy. For the 4WD "S' the MSRP is only 55k to begin with, and the end of year incentives are huge this year (supposedly an update is coming next year). It may never be this affordable again to buy a Nissan patrol new (albeit a decontended one). The "S" I am looking at still has LED headlights, 360 degree camera though. But the stereo is only 4 speaker, the rear view mirror is manual, the outside mirrors are still heated. Exactly the simple but incredible sturdy, high mechanical content, lifetime durability SUV one would want. And I am paying less than a new loaded Pathfinder or 4Runner, for brand new full size V8 body-on-frame goodness.!! 🥰

Why does Nissan give the Armada a worse approach angle bumper than the Patrol? Fuel economy I'm guessing?

My Armada has been dead reliable. I love the V8 and how it drives. I even lifted mine with a Calmini lift and 295s. Best car we have ever owned actually.

Nissan patrol here in UAE and Middle East have too much off road options and rear lock also its 3 inch higher than armada Nissan patrol y62 it’s too much good in sand better than Land Cruiser or any SUV
