The bed stiffners would make a great giveaway! Especially to someone that is waiting to get their 24 Taco on June 6 😏😁

Gas tank only 18.2 gals vs 3rd gen at 21.1 gals and almost the same MPG’s.. Still NO gas hood struts..why ? Maybe to reduce the price and save weight? Expect more stops to the gas stations…

I rented one for 6 days, engine sounds like a small tractor engine but did have plenty of power for everything I did including hauling a load of firewood. With firewood loaded even with the bed it seemed to bottom out the suspension on every small bump. Gas tank seems small, fill up netted 290-300 mile range @ 21 mpg avg, shocking coming from a F150 with 700 mile range. I don’t like the large blind spot at 1-2:00 in the windshield for a tall guy. Overall I liked it with some negatives that I could get over, I can’t get over the price so will probably never own one.

4:10 The rear glass does open independently on the Suburban, actually. It had that feature for years now, so why did you say it doesn’t open independently from the lift gate?

Any reason why you didn't go with the 4X4 model? Do you feel it's necessary or do without? My last questions when you were going through the itemized window sticker were you able to successfully get the price taken down with the removal of like the cell phone package since there's no need to spend that much on cell phone cables along with the other items you were talking about?

Hi, this is a 4x4 model, with rear locker as well. We were unable to take off the gulf states items that were already on the build sheet. Including the cell phone cables, and side steps. Thanks for watching.

Brake torquing is the most useless measure of speed, and all ya amateur copycat KZfaq car reviewers use it, followed by the words "okay, it's not gonna win any drag races, but that's not what this car is all about". AS IF any car on a public road is.

Brake torqueing when launching a traditional auto makes a huge difference over simply flooring it from zero. Assuming there is enough traction and the vehicles nannies allow it. This also is helpful on some CVT's. This yields the best results for 0-60 testing. Also, we do test every vehicle off camera to see what it likes best to give it the best result in the real world. Thanks for watching.

I have a white one, it’s dope. It’s a truck. I like that they glop a bunch of extra paint on the bottom like that. Protects from rock chips and shrubs along the trail. My gen 3 had it too. Who gives a turd? We aren’t taking these things to beauty competitions. Also, the arm rest on the window… way better than the gen 3. It’s actually nice to rest your arm there with the window down now. Always bothered me with my last one. I don’t mind hard plastics, most folks use these trucks for work and for truck things. Who needs a leather dash? I also don’t have to worry about not having remote start cause I have a six speed in it anyway. It’s a sweet looking truck, and so far, I can’t find faults. My ‘22 had a misaligned rear bumper, a stupid roof rack and side steps that I didn’t want, the “premium” entertainment console was unresponsive garbage, and the vinyl inside my rear doors was already bubbling off the panel and the dealer said it was “normal” (I still loved that truck tho). This truck is quicker, smoother, and better in just about every way that I can think of. “There’s no cover over the motor…” seriously?

Oh we are with you. The engine cover comment is not about appearances. It’s about trying to quiet down the injector noises. That’s all. Congrats on the manual! That’s awesome.

@@TexasTruckChannel lol my initial thoughts were “man these guys are picky!” Oh, the plastic bed cap is the exact same way on mine too. There’s a piece of foam under there and the adhesive doesn’t seem to want to hold it down. I’m sure a dab of superglue or double sided tape would fix it easily enough. I thought I had knocked it loose while I was installing the bed divider from my old truck into this one, but apparently not!

Plus all 2024 Tacoma gas tank is only 18.2 gas tank, vs 3rd gen 21.1 gas tank. Meaning more stops at gas stations…
