Dude great video really appreciate it I've worked in 4 wheel drive custom shops for a long time lots of ARB lockers and all Kind Of Re gear Jobs Could not remember Which Axel and ebreak assembly went to each sideGot my park mixed up I was able to figure it out from your video also It's not very common Differential to rebuild Your video was spot on very educational Like I said I've been a professional differential rebuilder for many years Your video It's wonderful thank you

Great video. My pro4x diff is making a hum at 40 mls/hr. There’s some rust on the on the gear but not really any wear. dealer says I need a new rear end because parts are not available. My axel seal is slightly worn as there is some play. I’ve decided to keep driving it and change the fluid every few weeks to get all the water out which caused this issue. Wish I knew how it got in there since I dont submerge the rear end in water. Where’s your part 2. The just ended.

I actually have two more parts to this. The second one will be labeled Nissan Frontier C200 Differential Rebuild Part 2 and the third and final part is labeled Nissan Frontier Differential Rebuild Finale. Look under my videos and they are spaced about two days apart from each other if you cannot find them let me know and I'll reply the links to both.

@@operationoverhaul I found them both and will be viewing them. Did you just overhaul your diff recently. Im being told that parts are not available for mine. Since I have the pro4x its equipped with the M226 diff which was not designed to be rebuilt unlike the C200. Im not sure this is true but thats what Im told. I need to check with a shop that specializes in diff rebuilds here in Toronto area.

@@truenorthmuskoka9077 everywhere I source my parts from makes you buy the entire carrier assembly to get the spider gears. I can find the ring gear and pinion but not the spider gears. sorry it looks like you cannot get the spider gears by themselves.

Yes they should work on any gear ratio as long as it is a c200.

another question, why are so many shops scared to death to replace just the gears? they all say just get a scrapyard axle assembly

@@aaroncaudle1408 one: a lot easier to do a differential swap and two: a lot of shops do not do gears and rebuilds because of the tools and time it takes to do.

Go to nissanwholesaledirect.com there you can put in all your info for your truck to pick the correct parts. It will also have the part numbers so you can look them up somewhere else to compare prices. Those ring gear and pinions are expensive on these c200 axles.

Informational Video, Thank you for this video. I have a question, I'm replacing my bearing and seal, how to remove the abs gear and the back plate?

The backing plate will come off with the bearing when you remove the bearing. The abs gear will have a snap ring on it and it is pressed on as well. I used a torch and heated it up and it slid right off.

Thank you and this is a C200. I think the C200K has a different shaft diameter or spline count. I cannot remember. If you need part numbers for the K axle let me know and I could probably find them for you.

I also have C200 on my Nissan Terrano 2005. Im just curious how capable this axle for off road? And do you put locker on it?

If you were going to put a locker on it, I would do a m226 swap because you could find a m226 with a locker cheaper than you can just buy a locker for the c200. Plus, they are stronger and would work better for off road use.

They come in either an open differential or with e locker. You just need to find one that has e-locker on it. The prices depend on area, mileage, and if it has the locker or not. But I normally see them around 600+ in my area.
