It's not Nissan we are to be blamed as we Indian love to stick only to few brands and giving no scope to other manufacturers resulting they are closing their shops in India. It's really sad, we will miss good cars in the future.

In this case, I don't agree with you sir. Nissan is doing great with Magnite and India is a great market for car company. Once they exit, it won't be easy to make a come back. Therefore I feel that Nissan will continue with India. These kind of speculation will disturb their sale. Magnite is a good car. I had made a booking for Nissan Magnite yesterday. After having read a lot on the internet (mostly team-bhp) about Magnite, I came to an understanding that Nissan Magnite as a product is decent, but Nissan India operations are shaky at best. The salesperson said that Nissan has a lot of investment in India with its Renault Nissan Factory and so there is no way it will leave India. Even if Nissan leaves India, the factory will still keep operating to make parts for Renault Kiger. This was the reason why I went ahead and booked a Magnite XV Premium CVT Turbo variant. Even if Nissan was to leave India, its product Magnite would still have no issues with parts availability. Is this assessment correct on my part or am I wrong in my judgment. Please let me know sir!

But if Nissan brings such potential product like Nissan 🌿 Leaf in modern PHEV form then they can beat all the competitors in market. Because in India people prefer luxury with economy, as price hike and inflation is harassing after buying a car to all the customers, so they will definitely rethink before leaving and they should, because India's population is mighty and can become top five car buyers in near future, if car companies focus on tipical Indian mindset.

Nissan needs to bring out X-Trail in India. Every brand needs to have a good flagship model in it's inventory, cars like Magnite are okay but they are budget cars that cater to the already very congested small car segment. Also, this gives Nissan an image of being a brand with only cheap cars in the market. An internationally proven car like the X-Trail will definitely raise it's profile in India and attract buyers from the luxury SUV segment which does not have much competition in India with the likes of Ford (Endeavour) having exited the market.

@Signs r not good for Nissan in india @Amit sir, I recently serviced my honda car at honda service centre at srinagar J&K and I was surprised to find nissan cars being service there also and when I enquired the Nissan customers they told that a big showroom in the city has been closed and shifted to a small makeshift shop and some customers who were enquiring about nissan cars were directed to visit Honda showroom, it feels Nissan is in total mess
