Nissan Maxima 2004-2005 replace fuse to fix interior lighting (dome) and sun visor light. If it is not the bulbs or short in the wiring it will be the fuse. One way to verify if it is the fuse is if all the dashboard lighting works, but sun visor and dome lighting are not functioning. Unfortunately Nissan Maxima 2005 manual does not explain in detail which fuse to change.

I have a Nissan Quest but the concept was the same. My key fob also stopped working when I blow the fuse. I pulled the fuse, replace it and I was back in business. Thank you

What do u think will fix the center console Where the radio console is located and temp controls ac and temperature screen .i habe all of that out Im thinking is a fuse. No power seems to be going to that only

Sound like you have an electrical module problem. Sorry for the slow response. I have to get better at responding. I didn’t expect this video to get that much attention. Check to see if you have coins laying against it. Google on line if I am not able to respond to you in a timely manner. My current job makes it difficult to get on KZfaq and do anything. My dashboard light is dark only by one Gage. The other areas have light just fine. Would that also be a fuse or a bulb needs to be replaced?

That's a bulb behind the cluster. It's pretty easy to take out.

My cluster light only comes on when I pull hand brakes.

Were you able to lock your doors with the car off and turn on your headlights with the car off because my pathfinder is doing the same thing not just my interior lights and my key fob only works when the car is on

Hello Caleb, I sold the vehicle, but at the time I didn’t have any issues with the key fob or lights after changing out the blown fuse.

If the dashboard lights won’t come on after you tried this method you may want to check under the hood. It also have a fuse box near the battery on the 2005 models.

My interior lights are inop. But every time I replace the fuse it blows again. There is a short somewhere. Does any one know if this is a common problem with Altimas 2005? and if there is a common fix other than replacing the fuse? Also does any one know where can I get the wiring schematic for that specific circuit?

Do you know why my shift stay on #2 I know I should look on a different KZfaq channel but my RPM it’s to high that what Walmart told me when I took it In for a maintenance lol yeah KZfaq help out but at the moment didn’t have a phone and needed a oil Chang ASAP lol but anything will help
