Nissan Rogue Sport Oil Change

First oil change of a 2020 Rogue Sport. Different than the Rogue.
Bottom pan makes this 30 minute job a lot longer.
Needed
4 QTS 0W-20
NAPA 1358 filter
new oil wrench
small pliers and screw driver

Great video. Thanks for putting it together. Every other video out there just jumps to the drain plug and filter removal and acts like the plastic shroud doesn't exist.

let me know if you keep the pan in place or completely remove it.

@@navynuc1 I took the tray completely off. It’s really accessing the oil filter when the tray is off. It took more time removing the cover than actually changing the oil,filter and air filter. I left 3 of the big clips off when I replaced the cover .These were more of a pain in the butt to come off. Overall it was an easy job.

@@navynuc1 I took mine completely off. I think it was easier taking it all the way off. Seems like more work leaving it off only half way.

I took pan off. Filter I take off with little effort as it should be hand tight. And for some reason mine took the whole 5 quart and now says full.

Thanks I was thinking of making a video of changing mine for KZfaq since there were no others. I’ll be changing mine for the first time. I don’t trust the dealers “free oil change” 🤣

Just take the whole plastic pan off saves little time, invest in more plastic pins they will break in time

I have a question. It’s 5 quarter or 4? The Advance Auto part guy told me that is 4

it will want about 4.5 with the filter change, but 4 will work. I mistakenly did 5 last time and its a little too full

Yea mine took all 5 to reach completely full once I started car and let oil cycle

Leave it the pan off my car runs so much better and I don’t hear ratteling
