Question??? Will these shocks work on a RWD 2007 Titan with 2 inch lift blocks on the rear axles... I currently have my stock shocks and they're needing to be replaced. When I read up on the 5100 that said 0 to 1 in. Any advice would be appreciated

Yes, I enjoyed the video. Please do one on changing the blend door actuator replacement for the air vents. Especially one that shows how to get to the hard to reach one's without having to remove the whole dash! These cheap plastic parts go out and need to be fixed often on some trucks! Thanks!

In the process of removing the stock shocks at 115k right now. The top bolts are crusty as hell. The bottom bolts came right out. Still fighting one on the drivers side (its not moving at all). The passenger side I backed out as far as I could and then cut it off with the sawzall. Prepare yourself for time to be spent on bolt removal.

My ranchos went at 40K, my KYB GR2's came off at 102K, I should have put 5100's on when I first bought the truck - amazing and affordable upgrade.

Great vid! Did you not jack the truck up at all? Just did all this with the truck on the ground?

Really great camera work. I do this too so I know how hard that is to get such great angles and perfect focus. Really nice job.

Nice video. I just replaced rear shocks and front struts with the 4600s. Speaking of videos, have you done one for the rear differential breather mod?

Good video. Only thing you could have showed was the height difference (before & after) from the the tire and bed of truck.

Did it give you a little lift ? Would it be any good for an long box…??? Am looking to upgrade my rear ended shocks…
@HRR560
@HRR560 2 жыл бұрын
Nope. Shocks are not giving any lift mate. Its the leafsprings. You need to add new "lift" springs or add a block under oem leafspring.

Installed a full set of 5100's last year. These rear shock bolts were pretty bad, i sprayed them for days and still couldnt get them off, i ended up using a jack to move the wrench. Ya, it was that tight. And the front was worse, after compressing the sping the top bolt was impossible. The small part you are suppose to grab on to so you can turn the bolt actually snapped off on both of them, i ended up cutting them with an air chisel. Save yourself the heart ache and get springs too.
