Thank you! This is the only video I was able to find that covers this repair. I've replaced that sensor on my 2007 Xterra. It was a shot in the dark to try to fix the issue of nice cold air coming out for the first couple of hours of a long drive to then get warm air. I figured the repair is simple and the part not expensive so let me give that a try. Fingers crossed; we'll see...

After replacing the condenser fan, 2 relay switches, a pressure sensor that blew out all my damn freon!! Btw peeps, a 2015 Nissan Xterra does NOT have a Schrader valve! It was this stupid little plastic sun load sensor that kept me from being cool in hot af Miami. Thank you Gearhead 327

On my 2011 nissan Frontier i notice the AC starts blowing hot when it hits 40-80 miles per hour on the expressway. My Temp is within normal ..

Does a 2001 Frontier xe use that same part? My ac kicks on only once in a while . When it does it works great but it may work all day or go out after a minute or two. And it may or may not come back on for a week or more.

I checked the blending door was working. I need to check that too. Is your vehicle automatic temperature set or manual?

With this cause the fan to not come on also or the blower I get nothing on AC or just trying to blend air fan does not come on. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When you say the AC cuts off do you mean, it actually turns off, or it stays on but blows hot air instead of cold air?

I had this issue a few years ago on my 2002 Nissan frontier and after throwing about $2000 at the problem with my local mechanics, I found a video somewhere on here describing that it was more than likely the relay underneath the dashboard. I went to Nissan and I purchased it, I think it was about $6.00, I swapped it out and it started working again. But the main symptom, at least in my case, was that the compressor would trip on and off. So it would be blowing cold air one minute, and then hot air the next minute. I would turn the AC off and then turn it on a few minutes later and it would work again, only to be tripped up a few miles down the road.

Hi Sir. Was your alternator working at the time? My AC is completely not cooling and the alternator is not working. Need your advice please

My alternator was working. Does your a/c compressor magnetic clutch engage when you turn it on?

@@Gearhead.327 it’s not engaging. Actually it started when i put to reverse, the AC cooling stop working then after 2 days, totally not working at all regardless if it’s in drive or reverse mode. My mechanic tried to to connect directly to positive to check if the magnetic clutch is working, but unfortunately, it’s not working. Have you ever experience this? 🙁

@@inel4393 Yes and the problem was a bad low pressure cut out on the freon filter. I replaced the filter, replaced the refrigerant and she started cooling again. You will need a wiring schematic to confirm if this actually your problem.

Sounds like your blower fan, switch, resistor or wiring connections.

How did you know this was the issue? A mechanic told me I probably need a new ac control module.

The air conditioner would work fine, then at different times it would just blow hot air and then start blowing cold again. Freon was ok. I took a leap of faith and replaced this part and it has been working great ever since.

@@Gearhead.327 Thanks. Put in a used module and still no fix. Do you know if the xterra is supposed to have one of these? I know the vehicles are similar in many ways.

You risk icing and possibly damaging the evaporator coil.

nissan 27700ZC00A is a light dimmer sensor. do you have all such masters in the USA?! this sensor has nothing to do with the air conditioner!!!! .... hello from Ukraine. the main thing is that the heating radiator or freon does not leak into the cabin. I already made the video.
