"Game in a Nutshell" is a series of videos designed to teach the board games. In this video we're going to learn how to play Kanban EV.

Branislav, I already said this but no one teach a board game like you. It's neat; clear and very well explained. I had problems with this game because the rulebook is not so clear...And now you brought light in my head with this video. Thank you very much for your videos and keep up this exceptional job... Regarding Daimyo - I don't have the game so I can't promise to make a tutorial. But I will try to get a copy as I have been already asked for this one by several poeple recently.

Thank you so much. I shouldn't worry anymore about learning the games whenever my Kanban EV arrived at my home. Anyway, do you have a plan to make tutorial videos how to play Greenland, Neandhertal or the other Sierra Madre Games such as Bios series or other Pax series?

Thank you. :) I will definitely do Pax Viking and Pax Renaissance 2nd edition as soon as they arrive. However, I am probably not coming back to the games that are already published as I don't have a capacity for that. But I already did Pax Pamir 2nd edition, and that's my TOP1 game of all times at the moment! :)

Thank you! :) The game feels like Lisboa - doing a lot of things to get just a few points, but then scoring big from meetings. Not sure it gets into my TOP 20 of all times, maybe TOP30 or TOP40. Lisboa is also in the same range. :)

Thank you, Branislav! Your videos are excellent! Would you please check the golden rule (BOOKS, PARTS VOUCHERS, AND BANKED SHIFTS) : Whenever you gain either of these, place the appropriate tiles to the side of your Player board; you cannot use them on the turn that you gained them. At the end of your turn, move them onto your Player board. They were placed onto Player boards several times.

Thank you Cyril, I have a Golden Rule as a separate chapter in the video, but the truth is I forgot about that rule a few times. It's a very unintuitive rule, to be honest.

Love your video's, very clearly explained. There is a mistake in the video and that is that you explained the Golden Rule very late in the video. Early in the video you state that you may claim bonusses immediately, example 21:56. Later you explain the Golden Rule but people watching the video have seen you make these mistakes earlier and so maybe copy this mistake.

Ahoj, moc děkuji. Návod přišel v pravou chvíli. S angličtinou problém nemám, ale zeptám se. Mám čekat slovenskou verzi nebo s ní nepočítat a pustit se do učení z anglické ;) Díky

Is 17:16 correct? I thought that you can only change it when you need to not to transform it to car part and put it on your player board.

Oh, I have accidentay cut off the second part of the sentence during the editing. 😕 That second part was - "THEN use that part to complete the action".

Is it possible to get the same factory goal twice? I 'm doing an action, that gets me my second car, claiming factory goal that requires 2 cars in the garage, on the next turn (or turns) i take another car, so i have 3 now, do i get another generic speech token from the factory goal that requires 2 cars in the garage?

No, you can only "score" each factory goal once.

I don't know, I haven't played with it. But I think the change would be only "cosmetic".

How can orange take 4 shifts on the and grab both cars immediately at 22:19? He's on a 3 shift spot, and there is no 4 shifts

Well, let's assume the player had some banked shifts (8:54) and spent 1. The maximum number of shifts is 4, and that's the limit I mentioned at 22:19 example.
