It was close, but you can see the C63 has a little more power. The pull at 2:16, the C63 reels the S5 in as the speed increases to top end, but then the S5 blocks the 63's way so he has to break. at 2:32, you can hear the S5 slams his foot down, slightly before the C63 and again, the 63 over takes and has to slow down. The C63 had more power The tuned S5 had an aggressive driver

So on this white one my rear right strut leaked oil and needed to be changed, the diff was swearing oil on two of the three seals and the engine light which was for the intake manifold leak. The drivers side blind spot light in the mirror started flickering and sometimes would go out. I ended up buying a set of coild instead of replacing the rear suspension. The first gen c63 have that head bolt issue and sometimes tranny issues so I'd aim for 2nd gen.

You need go tune it. I had a Kleeman tuned C63 with secondsry cats removed. It was a monster. I was taking almost everythibg back in 2010. Good days. Bsck then tune was like $1500 im not sure how much it is nowadays. My C63 wS the first ever c63 delivered in Miami ;) monster of a car i should of never sold it!

I have a 2011 CLS63 M156 engine my mechanic did valve cover gaskit and he told me head bolts are still old ones, means not upgraded till then. And Mercedes Benz dealer had no clue when I asked them about Head Bolt problems.

I have a 15 b8.5 S5, but looking at this the C63 had him up top from what it looked like. But then again they never actually got a clean run so it's hard to say how close it would've been. But just be realistic guys, cant declare the S5 the victor here based on the "runs" they had.

On track or racing from stop, tuned Audi S5 3.0 TFSI is way faster. The same goes for weather conditions other than a fully dry surface. Mine does 0-100kmh in 3.7s.

This S5 is like Stg 2 to have the power to keep up with the Merc and yeah in the first pull the C63 was in low rpm for a naturally aspirated engine compared to the Supercharged S5

All the other pulls I'm just letting off in the amg trying to avoid being completely wreckelss

The S5 if it is the 4.2 V8 , only has 354 HP and 295 TQ. No match for the C63 beast. Even the newer S5 with a 3.0 supercharged engine would have to be tuned to near 500 HP to even keep up. The RS5 would be a worthy competitor.

The 3.0s at stage 2+ will easily take both the rs5 and the c63 also stage 3 for the 3.0 cars is almost ready and they are testing up to 900 to the wheels

You can fit all the way up to 275 on stock rear wheels. Can rub briefly on high speed long bumps but great 99% of the time. 265 is sweet spot. Can't believe they did 235 square! 😂 At least go 245 if you need square stance.

Properly tuned s5 with pulley upgrades should be faster than a w204 c63. If the s5 has the throttle body upgrade then it won’t even be a competition since it’ll be making about 500hp

@@nitish21 s5 will still be faster at that point. Super charged engine will have much more torque on demand opposed to naturally aspirated. Also the s5 will weight less. S5 also has awd so from a dig it’ll destroy the c63.

@@Justsomeguy1015 I agree I have a V8 RS5 and from a dig the c63 gets left badly........ Now from a roll it’s a TAD closer that transmission it has it trash as opposed to a RS5’s double clutch

@@Justsomeguy1015 a dig has nothing to do with awd. Some of the fastest cars in the 1/4 are rwd and that's all due to tire alone. A good tire will get any rwd off the line in a hurry. An fbo tuned c63 will also have more torque than a tuned supercharged s5.

@@nitish21 it has everything to do with awd. Both of these cars are front engines cars. The fastest cars you’re talking about have rear engine which put weight down on the rear wheels to give it traction. Fbo c63 got nothing. Naturally aspirated engines will barely make anymore power from stock unless you bore out the cylinder heads or bore out the block to make it a bigger displacement.

The S5 is more comparable to a C43 AMG, maybe it would have been a different result with the RS5 vs C63 AMG.
