A minor point. I had thought that phosphodiasterase #5 was an antagonist to GMP, guanosine mono phosphate, the latter instrumental in causing blood flow causing an erection. In the video it was stated that PD5 was an antagonist to NO2.

Thank you for this video. My concern is about my disease: I have type one diabetes. My body is very much influenced by the production - or lack or - nitrous oxide. I take a supplement to help my body;s ability to produce nitric oxide, yet I am curious if is enough, or if it possible to obtain a perscription from my doctor. Usually they tell me no, as I am not sexually active, but my reason for wanting to produce this naturally, is for bodybuilding purposes. I am not a power lifter, just a fitness enthusiast who has seen a major decline in my health since diabetes was discovering (honestly the reason for my leaving the job). Is there any hope for my physical health and resulting happiness? I feel as thought I have been sentenced to a long and drawn-out death as my body breaks down from his auto-immune disease.

im pushing 40. been dealing with it for a good 3 years now. hey Doc, so its safe to take both and its actually rather a good thing to take nitric oxide with an inhibitor? i use about 20 mg of V. pretty minor dose just to keep the cost down as much as i can. would you recommend a little supplement of nitric oxide?

I take 6 gm powdered L-Citrulline everyday which is a nitric oxide booster along with a daily dose of 5mg tadalafil (generic cialis) with great results. Have also used it with 25 mg of V with no problems. I prefer the tadalafil as it stays in the system much longer. V is more of an on demand, at the moment type of drug.
