The diffusion rate of oxygen is NOT “much” higher the nitrogen. Graham’s law tells you the amount. 7%. And there is only 20% of the mixture that is leaking out faster. The difference in the rate of diffusion between air and nitrogen becomes 1.5% faster. And, as we all know, your tire pressure, without a leak, doesn’t change for months. So you arguments collapse except for the water vapour, yes, air has higher humidity than nitrogen if you pump it without drying it. BUT if it is compressed and then allowed to cool in you compressor tank, some water may condense out so that when released into the tire, the air may be slightly drier than outside. This isn’t that likely because air will only condense if the RH exceeds 100% under pressure.

not counting the price argon is way better than nitrogen the Molecules are 40 times the size of nitrogen and it transfers way less heat then nitrogen that's why its used in windows.

Nitrogen in tires is a scam. Air is 78% nitrogen. When a tire is installed on a rim the empty space between the tire and rim is filled with air from the atmosphere (78% Nitrogen) then they add 99% nitrogen from a tank which leaves all that air inside the tire. F1 cars vacuum the air out then add nitrogen making it actually 99% nittogen. Adding nitrogen to a tire without putting it into a vacuum means it's only about 85% nitrogen......

It was actually first figured out by racecar drivers, They found that if they filled their tires up with nitrogen it withstood the temperature changes. So, friction from racing- increased tire temp-" air" pressure will rise. With nitrogen, the pressure of the tire stays the same so the handling of the race car stays the same

Another advantage of nitrogen vs compressed air, is that nitrogen is dry. Unlike compressed air it is prone to expansion due to the presence of moisture inside the tire especially when its hot.

Unless you're racing, using heavy equipment, or flying an airplane, nitrogen in tires is marketing bullshit. Regular maintenance should be on the car owner, not some flagrant money grabbing carryover from nascar.
