@@crackerjack0349 this gonna be a hot take but ngl, i felt that when i rewatched South Park, theres only a few season i enjoy while everything else just feels annoying (Don’t even get me started on Seasons 1-to-4ish, those seasons suck ass). And yet, when i watched i-Carly just for random nostalgia, i actually had a smile on my face and even having a good chuckle or a good laugh at some of the jokes in the show, despite younger me rolling my eyes at the show (i grew up in an area where the Nickelodeon Live-Action sitcoms were seen as lame & boring and everyone loved the Nick cartoons)

0:57 They probably could've avoided the name charge the second time had they just made it Artificial Mind and Movement or AM² for short as opposed to A2M.. Also the fact that in the internet age with porn at this time RAMPANT on file sharing sites like KaZaA and Limewire, I find it MINDBOGGLING that not a one, NOT A SINGLE ONE of their employees saw the shortened version of their company name and realized the problem. 3:59 I assume that the reason for the character randomly becoming 3D is for one of 2 reasons 1) They rotoscoped over 3d models to make animating the character easier, but forgot to draw over the last frame (this one is less likely since 3D animation, especially for a small niche studio, wasn't advanced or fluid enough to make good "cartoony" animation to draw over) 2) It was supposed to be an odd transition from film to game graphics after the lightning bolt, similar to that one bit from the Lord of the rings two towers game, but it ends up looking odd since only the character and nothing else changes.

I do have a soft spot for that Warners 90s animation, it sometimes could get very bouncy depending on the studio, but if done well it had a wonderful sense of weight and movement. And I love the games of that time which had animated cutscenes like that. Reminds me of Toonstruck or Braindead 13. Wonder why they replaced it in the Japanese release. Did they think Japanese gamers wouldn't appreciate it? Also what's up with sliding segments in games of that time anyway? Why were they so popular? And, different game, but that "Caligula + Everyone" graffiti from Gex is hilarious.

Oh man, I remember this game, and I loved it as a kid. I like to come back to this video and rewatch it occasionally just because how much I loved Jersey Devil. It wasn't perfect, but it was charming. I wish it got a fix or revitalization or something like that.

Malofilm was a Canadian company. They were mainly a film production company, a television and video production company and a film distributor. They were originally founded in 1983 as René Malo Vidéo and changed to the Malofilm name in 1987. In 1992, Behaviour Interactive was founded as MegaToon Entertainment Group. In 1994, the president of MegaToon Entertainment Group founded another company, Multimedia Interactif. Malofilm acquired Desclez Productions and MegaToon Entertainment Group in 1995. In 1997, MegaToon Entertainment Group and Multimedia Interactif merged into Behaviour Interactive. At the same time, Malofilm renamed themselves to Behaviour Communications. In 1999, Malofilm renamed themselves again to Les Films Séville, which is the name they are currently operating as, although Entertainment One took over the company in 2007.

Hey Nitro Rad. How would you feel about a HAL Laboratory developed My Hero Academia platformer that was similar to Kirby and a 3D collect-a-thon platformer?
@NitroRad
@NitroRad 6 жыл бұрын
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i can't really imagine a MHA game playing like kirby lol I think that series would be best for fighting games or beat'em'ups, rather than platformers. Then again, being able to switch between multiple characters and using their unique quirks for navigating any given level would be really cool.

Nitro Rad What I mean by play like Kirby though I meant have each character have an move set that are easy to execute via simple button combos. Also nice taste in anime.

That standing over the rooftop scene with the lightning strike was probably a reference to the Batman: The Animated Series show intro, another Warner Brothers animated show in the 90s.

I owned and played this game with my dad as a very young child.I only remember being able to explore the museum a bit, and the cargo ship level. I was abominable at games back then, and I absolutely loved them, while not even knowing any conciquence for my actions, just exploring these 3D spaces till I could get what's going on and discovering this whole new thing for accomplishing this thing. This is why I loved SM64DS! I forgot the name along with my dad, but we wanted to find it again one day and my dad somehow found it again! Now I can watch this video to learn more! Thanks nitro!

Circular parallax actually does work like that. Its about angular speed vs linear speed. Circular parallax is like you're at the center of the circle and as you turn slowly a point you are staring at on the circumference moves faster than you turning. In a sidescroller it's like you are on the outside of the circle and the background is the center so you move faster. I think its a little too fast in this game but its correct in idea.
