It sure is a different animal. Have to be careful learning how to tune. Dad's been at it a long time it looks like. We blew a few apart back in our school days learning how to tune blown alcohol. Then started adding a little nitro... Oh yes that's the berries now.

Ya'll should be pretty happy! Car sounds great, awesome throttle response! Only thing....just wish it was a BBF, all jokes aside when we get the bugs/chassis worked out we probably will change to BBC power too...the expense of a Ford motor is outrageous....we will put the BBF rocker covers on it....won't be able to tell the difference...be safe...God Bless!!

It's certainly a possibility. We are keeping a lookout for an aftermarket BBF block, we're looking to build something capable of 1500hp.

Nitro Union oh ok 1500 capable is a big deal. From what I hear the 460 is 1000 hp capable. But I saw Richard Holden post a junkyard gen6 454 1000 plus hp twin turbo. He said he just ran our of fuel but it was taking the hp.

@@davidvonanderseck8649 Yeahh that's the biggest hold up with going back to a Ford power plant, the chevy's we have are all aftermarket blocks and built for the power, but to get BBF parts to handle that power is a lot more expensive, but it is certainly a goal that we want to get to when the budget allows. We pick up a piece here and there if we run up on a good deal. I've been told that 1000 number on a stock BBF block as well, and if you've seen our videos from when we had the SBF in the car, we don't have great luck with stock block deals so you can see why we're hesitant to go that route haha. We don't mind overbuilding, it just takes some time to gather up funds to do so. We also like to do a Boss 9 type head as well so that's even more money.

What is your personal best time in the 1/8th ?

5.55 in the 1/8th is our best so far. That was with the old 482ci engine, I believe this one should run better, plus we since have had a custom torque converter built for it, so hoping to better that time.
