Seems you are the only one. 60K+ miles, low noise, smooth ride, no issues.

I’ve seen some exaggerated reviews both ways…I’ve run more aggressive mud style like trail graps and most brands last around 30-35k average on 1/2 ton z71 never had any tire besides factory stock junk wear out in 15k miles😊

I have a set of these tires on my tundra right now that have almost 70,000 miles on them. now I will say probably close to 50% of my driving is highway but I take good care of them rotate them regularly. With respect I bet you drive like a dumbass.

I’ve run a 37” ridge grappler to around 40k mile and sold them with 1/4 tread life. They were fantastic. Currently running the 38x12.5r17 on my 2020 Jeep rubicon. They’re just not the great imo. The look amazing. But they’re wearing fast and have really soft side walls. I won’t get them again. I think the best hybrid right now is the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. And the ridge grapplers start out pretty quiet. But get much louder with wear. I will say that the 37” ridge grapplers on the same jeep performed amazing on and off road. Maybe differences in sizes 🤷🏼♂️

LMAO never had any issues in over 300K worth of running Ridge on multiple trucks. You're doing something wrong if your only getting 27K LOL What's the date code on those?

Don’t have any experience with this certain model, but try the Cooper STT pro mud tire, I had the Discoverer ATP tires and they were great.

It must be hit or miss. I've never ran any Nittos tires, but I did run the toyo MT on my 2017 F350 and got about 18k miles... I wasn't happy but always was told they are the best. I think my favorite tire was the cooper SST pro! Those had the overall best results so far for me.

Cooper STT Maxx or Toyo Open Country CT. Both are "commercial" hybrid tires. Both are loud on the road (I dont care some might) both have good traction and both wear like iron.

Your right tire shops recommend these but when I had them on my 1500 with aluminum bed the truck was very slippery. I went with bfg now. No complaints

Appreciate the review, I was dead set on getting a set and now maybe will reconsider. However I must say it seems everyone has different opinions on these but everyone is experiencing them in very different use cases. One person has them on a Ford Ranger, the next on a 350, ones towing heavy loads everyday, the other is driving on poor dirt and gravel roads half the time. Can’t expect any tire to last a million miles in extreme cases. Most the time when you see people get 30,40,50 thousand plus miles out of any tire that’s a hybrid or mud tires or even a slightly more aggressive AT, they’re probably mostly doing city driving, on a lighter truck, and not towing or going off-road much.

Mine were definitely put through pretty rough stuff. They didn’t last 30k. Definitely the worst tire I’ve had so far.

I've always ran the basic BFG KO2 and always been happy with them. Not great on wet pavement but good everywhere else and never had a puncture.

How often do you rotate usually? I think these tires sell good because people want an aggressive looking tire without the noise of a Mudd tire Ive been running the Atturo trail blade M/T, very cost effective tire.. Rotate every oil change and they last forever.. Mudd tires are loud but I don't care, some people can't stand the noise

I can guarantee runs balls to the wall spinning at every intersection… Baja style driver, no alignment, rarely rotates. I’ve seen too many reviews and currently have set trails on now with 15k miles. If your wearing any tire besides stock factory tire out in 15k miles…..the mirror may display the culprit 😂😂😂
@JacobOvermanАй бұрын
Okay. You’re slightly exaggerated. I do work my truck. I pull heavy loads and drive a lot of gravel roads. I do rotate and have a perfect alignment. I’m stating that in my experience and out of all the different tires I’ve owned. That this is the worst I’ve ever ran

2004.5 Dodge RAM 3500 4x4 DRW. It's a "well maintained vehicle" @ 200,000 miles and have the same sentiments as you! Had alignment done at time of purchase, rolls down road straight, held a good balance but still wore rapidly! Had rotation done at 10,000 (recommended for DRW) and at approx 15000 miles had a road hazard inside dual puncture, too large to patch and was told NITTO would not honor any road hazard!! Since there were 15,000 miles on tires and was told since it is a 4x4 I needed to buy 2... "at a discounted price though"... almost $500.00 "Out The Door"! Any more "NAME BRAND" tires for me? NOT!

I think the only market that the Nittos hit is that you can get the popular sizes for half tons that are not E rated

I've run Toyo Muds, Nitto Trails and Nitto Recons all in 37x12.50x20 on my 2500 Ram diesel. All 3 went 40k+. Friend of mine has run 3 sets of Ridge grapplers (35x12.50x20) on a Tundra. 20k miles at best on all 3 sets. I think it's telling that they came out with the Recon so quickly after the Ridges when it pretty much caters to the same use case... And coincidentally has a mileage warranty.

Best tires i have ever had. Im on my second set, first set had 48k on them and could have went longer but winter was coming. The current set i have has 41k with plenty left. I Have many friends that have had similar experiences with the ridge grapplers as well. Maybe you didn’t get the lt tires for a heavy truck and chewed through them fast? They i live in wayyy upstate ny so we get plenty of snow and they do great for me.

Ive run bfgs for years i have my own plow business and have found the bfgs to be the best until they hit 20 to 25k miles then look kinda like those they get really slick and suck ive found the best thing 2 do is get new at half life and sell used on market place for 6 or 700 of u can get it to ease the pain witch is what im doing now waiting for my 1st set of nitto ridge grapplers to come in and definitely regretting it now after seeing this. I've never had a complete set of BF g's balance out correctly either. I don't know after reading these comments. If the order hasn't come in for the ridge grapplers, I'm going to try The general grabbers heard some good things about those and seeing positive comments here as well..idk good luck with the bfgs i may be stuck with the nittos if they get delivered 2moro

Think it’s got alot to do with driver and drive habits, I’ve run 2 sets on my pulling trucks and got a little over 40k on both sets, ones a dually, ones a 2500 single, quite tire till end of its life then a little noise, great traction, looks good, regardless of what op says, my son who is 26 yrs old, runs them on his dually, he’s gonna get less than 30k out of his, but he runs the shit out of the truck, rounding back rd curves at 70 mph, always wide open, that wears and tears on tires like that bad would like to know how old poster is😂.. It didn’t get to be one of the 5 best tires out there for no reason
