NIU N1S 2018 indicator sound change

This shows you how to change your indicator sound:
hold the indicator button for 2 seconds to the right
then hold the indicator button 2 seconds to the left
and then again 2 seconds to the right
As you can hear there are several sounds.
One for every day ;)

How quick is the NIU N1S compared to M1S? The motor kW is almost twice as big for the N1S so I would expect it to be quite a bit faster. How is the N1S compared to a regular 50cc scooter according to you in terms of acceleration?

The comparison from N1 to M1 I don‘t know. Have only the N1 ;) Compared to a normal 50ccm it’s much faster in acceleration... I mean it’s really fun. And in the city you’re seldom slower than the cars (end speed).

Cool, thanks for your reply. I'm seriously considering buying it but it's a bit expensive here in europe I think. Is it worth the price according to you? Are you happy with it?

My opinion is that the price is absolutely fair if you compare with the other manufacturers on the market. The features and material quality which you get are also much better than for the others. In my opinion the price/performance ratio for this scooter is the best which you can get.

Ich fahre das 2017er Modell. Weisst Du ob man dort auch Blinkersounds einstellen kann?

Das weiß ich leider nicht, aber einfach mal ausprobieren. Die Anleitung findest du in der Beschreibung.

Jetzt habe ich es geschafft. Weiß nicht genau, warum es jetzt geht. Habe den Seitenständer hochgeklappt und die Bremse gezogen und probiert. Irgendwann klappte die Änderung des Blinkertons.

Leider funktioniert bei meinem NIU N1S die Änderung des Blinkertons nicht. Modell 2018 Juli. Woran kann das liegen?

G Stephan Vielleicht hat dein Roller schon ne neuere Software drauf die das dann nicht zulässt. Ich bekomme morgen auch die neuste Software auf den NIU, dann schau ich mal obs noch geht. Ansonsten wüsst ich nicht warum das nicht gehen sollte.

From my perspective for sure the N1. Several reasons like space for two, space for helmet and or small things (M1 has the Akku under the seat so no space). Also for persons taller than 1,75m the M1 is definitely too small. The rest should be the same...

but how do you turn off the sound off the blinking on the scooter?

samuel Och ebba It is not possible to mute the sound. I think in Germany it is a obligation to have a blinking sound for the street approval.

Das weiß ich nicht. Denke aber schon, da im M1 die gleiche Technik verbaut ist. Ich würde sagen ja.

Is there a way to disable/change the sound ? Mine has it and it's pretty annoying sometimes

Check the description of my video. This is how to change the sound. As far as I know disabling is not possible. But some of the sounds are really smooth and not so annoying.
