The current National Anthem of South Africa is a hybrid national anthem mixing "Nkosi sikelel iAfrika" and "Die Stem van Suid Afrika" since 1997
@FD-vj6hd3 жыл бұрын
@TheRenaissanceman65 it does not form part of Nkosi Sikelel'i Afrika, it forms part of the national anthem of south africa, but Nkosi Sikelel'i Afrika and die stem are seperate songs too
@FD-vj6hd3 жыл бұрын
@TheRenaissanceman65 I mean, it's just not, it's the opposite. You said "Part of it now forms the end of Nkosi Sikelel'i Afrika" and I said, "it does not form part of Nkosi Sikelel'i Afrika". Nkosi Sikelel'i Afrika and the South African National Anthem are not the same thing. Nkosi and Die Stem are two separate songs, both of which are part of the national anthem, but Die Stem isn't the end part of Nkosi, it's the end part of the anthem, just like Nkosi isn't the beginning of Die Stem, it's the beginning of the anthem. It really shouldn't be this difficult, and given that it is, it seems you're not much of a renaissance map

God Bless Field Marshall Jan Smuts. The world needs to hear his name more. Without him, there would be no League of Nations and no reconcilliation between South Africans. He did all he can to prevent Apartheid, but he grew old with age and couldn't do it all alone. Before that, he was a General in the Commandos of the Transvaal. From which the Royal Marines were born. A nation once his enemy became pur closest ally at the time Jan Smuts was gone from this world.
