Or Beardyman, he is on an even higher level given he improvises his sets and makes it sound like studio productions. Inkie's performance is the closest to it i have heard. Wow I guess I just found my new music guy. I’m a 27 year old white guy from Seattle. Had never gotten into rap or hip hop really, but I’m trying to branch out. I started listening to Eminem after I heard GNATS and thats how stumbled my way here. And not only is this dude helping get into rap he’s reacting to Nirvana, Rage Against and swissbeatbox! It’s interesting being introduced to music I haven’t listened to by a guy who is introducing himself to music I listen to. the reason inkie lost is because the judges suspected him of cheating in the first round. also, the reason the crowd got hyped during NME second round is because this is the first time he performed this song the correct way, he messed up against balance the year before I believe.

@@bodoque2029 A year late, but if you were referring to Inkie's loss, BreZ did a video reacting to this battle, where he said that he talked to the judges after this battle and they said that they weren't comfortable with Inkie's use of the second device.

First round: NME. The skill and timing required to nail that set live is just insane. Inkie’s set was still fire, just not quite as impressive. Second round: Inkie. His set was hard af, probs one of the filthiest I’ve heard on GBB. NME’s cover of Begin By Letting Go is undoubtedly one of the best sets in GBB, however he has performed it prior to this, and I’d argue his previous performance was cleaner than this one. I hope Inkie gets better luck with the judges next year, he really deserves it

Inkie’s second round was 10/10 whereas NME’s was off beat and had been done twice before, and GBB allowed Inkie to use the second device so how is it fair for them to then discriminate against him for using it? At the end of the day his Escape The Void set is actually one of the best/THE best I’ve ever heard on GBB, regardless if he used synthesisers/a couple pre-recorded sounds
