I think next video should be an overview of your fleet, marked, unmarked and so on. Another idea would be to create a video where you interview one person from everyone "specialization" such as detective, aviation, marine unit and/or mounted unit/bike and have them answer a few questions about it

My heart was in my throat as y'all were rushing to the officer's location! I've travelled a lot of roads as I've lived in six different states, and I always, always look closely at law enforcement officers when I pass by. I've read about incidents where an officer was in distress on the side of the road and no one stopped to help. As an RN, I would do my absolute best to give assistance.

Keep coming with the videos as they provide a lot of entertainment. I was born at Hobbs, left with my parents when I was two. Returned to Hobbs in 1958 to 1961 working for the old General telephone company of the southwest. My younger brother was a New Mexico State Policeman for 10 years in Las Cruces, and one of his daughters still lives there married to a border patrolman. So, we have quite a lot of New Mexico in us and I find it interesting to watch the NMSP at work. Lots of long lonesome roads between towns and basically out on your own, so to speak, so be safe and catch all the stolen cars on I-10.

3:59 Interesting video. My best to the NMSP for an outstanding training program. One thing i wish to remind officers is that they should ALWAYS maintain a high state of alert during traffic stops. As some of you may already know traffic stops are statistically one of the most dangerous duties an officer performs throughout their shift. Their is little room for error and the consequences can be deadly if the proper procedures/precautions are not taken. Especially if you are by yourself in the middle of nowhere with back up that may take some time to show up at your location. Depending on the size of your particular department/people on duty during a shift you may have to be your own back up. lol! ;) For example, on a traffic stop when coming up on the d/s door or p/s door of the vehicle. Officers should NEVER stand directly in front of the d/s door or p/s door window. This is known as the death funnel. No matter if you go to the driver side or passenger side door you should stand just behind the pillar of the door. This makes it more difficult for someone who may have ill intent to get a good shot at you with a firearm. Now this may not always be possible but If you notice there is more than one person in the vehicle it is strongly recommended for obvious safety reasons that officers get back up on scene before they even attempt an approach. You never want to give anyone the tactical advantage over. If things escelate you will be placing yourself in a position of disadvantage and could be taken out by the people inside the vehicle. Inform the driver via your vehicles PA system that you will be with them shortly and for them to stay inside the car until directed otherwise. Also, its NEVER a good idea to read documents at the door. Your attention/focus should be on the driver/passengers movements/body language during the encounter at the vehicle. You can pickup on a lot from body language so pay attention. Once you feel you have everything take the documents in your non-dominant hand and ask the driver if everything on the documents he gave you is correct/up to date. It's important to ALWAYS keep your dominant hand free of objects while you are doing this in case you have to quickly reach for your firearm. Seconds count. If you have to drop a flashlight or clip board in order to draw your sidearm you will be losing precious seconds in which you can draw and effectively end the threat. Remember that action is always quicker than reaction. Complacency kills folks so keep in mind no matter how many traffic stops you may have done without incident no traffic stop is routine. Anything can happen at anytime during the stop and when it does it will escelate very quickly so you have to be prepared both physically and mentally for it. In closing, tragically many officers who allowed themselves to become complacent/fall into a false sense of security have paid dearly with their lives. Plenty of OIS deaths on KZfaq and other media sources to prove this tragic fact. LEOs your family needs you back at the end of your shifts as do the department and community you work for. Don't become another statistic on the ODMP (OFFICER DOWN MEMORIAL PAGE) Stay focused throughout the stop. Keep in mind that more officers at stop does not always mean you are any safer so keep your guard up regardless. It's not over until the driver is released, they drive back out safely out onto the road and are well on thier way. My sincere apologies for the long winded ant. I do tend to get very passionate about officer safety. With all of that said, PLEASE stay alert. Stay alive LEOs! Your family is waiting for you back home! STAY FROSTY OUT THERE!!

Not bad, and I loved the black unmarked cars, any chance of seeing any night time work? I gotta say thoes all red lights at night has got to be a killer in the eyes especially when driving down a pitch black dessert road lol. The area looks much better then the area where I live but Illinois is just one big dump lol.

Matched the description minus some "details"? A yugo matches the description of a Lamborghini minus some details as well. Just because he was homeless doesn't mean he was the person. More compassion people..
