Cracking video. I learnt to sail at 30 on yachts but realised I liked single or double handed sailing without having to rely on getting crew and wanted to try smaller boats. I found a place at Mylor where I could hire Shrimper 19s. Fit the bill perfectly and fantastic waters. I had loads of fun and mini adventures. Smaller boats are less pressure and easy to manoeuvre. Less pressure on lines and all by hand. I found quite comfortable for one or two people and part of the fun was ‘camping’ like this. When I got a family we bought a Shrimper 21 and it fit us and smaller twins on it too… fantastic mini cruiser.
