I chose your recipe because your pie didn’t look as runny. I’m making it as I watch you. We didn’t get to have our Easter dinner at my house so I’m making the big turkey dinner tomorrow. I thought the pie looked delicious and beautiful! Also you do a good job teaching us. Thanks! After I posted this I noticed someone asked about cream cheese. I think it would set up a little better but be very rich. I’m sticking with your recipe.😉 I heard your little dog. What kind do you have?

That was the yorkie - she passed away in January. We still have 3 rescue pitbulls you'll occasionally hear in the background...LOL! Not very professional.

@@MaryeAudet-RestlessChipotle I’m so sorry about your little dog. I used to have 3 chihuahuas (all rescues) my favorite passed this past year. We now have a yorkie, a chihuahua, & a doxle (daschund/beagle )mix.

It was my mom's. I have NO idea how old it is..she was born in 1918... so I expect it was from the 40s?

For the 'lactose intolerant', foregoing cream cheese is a great alternative.

U don't need to ruin the pie with plastic wrap or cooking spray if you use the ready made crust and turn the plastic cover over

I don't think that ruins the pie and since I often make the crusts from scratch it's not always available.
